Great location, everything was within walking distance. Staff was really nice and helpful. and they make the best coffee!

This hostel was superb. Staff was knowledgeable and caring, everything was clean, the location was PERFECT, and the prices are very ideal for Budapest. The hostel is very quaint- not a big party hostel or anything. But the atmosphere is still great. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hostel twice, my first time with a reservation the 2nd on a return trip back to Budapest. You know it's decent when I show up again looking for a place to stay the night. No bunk beds and lockers next to each bed! Breakfast is typical so-so hostel style but not extra fee. Great location near metro, tram stops, food market, and Vasa street. Staff changed nearly every day however staff were exceptionally friendly always introducing themselves to me. Definitely I would stay again.

An excellent place to stay! A very cozy hostel with a friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast, very welcoming and helpful staff, nicely decorated room. There is a 24/7 food store right opposite the hostel and the historical center is some 5-10 minutes of walking away. Definitely recommended!

Sadly I had some problems in my room, but the staff was amazing, really helpful and friendly. He helped me to find some good places in Budapest and where to visit. Is just for sleep.

It is what it is - it's a hostel. It's in an older building so it's a bit grimy and staff do try to keep it as clean as possible but it's difficult for a older building. The staff were probably the best staff ever! I've stayed in a lot of hostels and they were the most helpful and awesome people around. The location was superb and cheap grocery stores nearby. Staff will do your laundry for 4 euros. Such a great deal!!

What a hostel!! The staff were the best thing, so friendly and informative. Gave us a lovely map and detailed explanation of the area and off we went. Great location as well.

Wonderful staff, very clean place and good atmosphere. It looks more a community than a hostel, the best hostel ever.

This would be the best, friendliest and most amazing hostel we have stayed at in all of Europe so far on our trip and we have been to a few hostels. The staff are what make it so great, they are very hospitable and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay and if u need help with anything they are more than happy to assist you! ;) thanks to Steve, Gabriel, Evi an Agnes (hope that is correct spelling) you made our time in Budapest unforgetful! It would be better to set the locker at the right side of the bed, not the left side. Because the locker is opened to the right way, when I open it, right next guest can see all of stuff in the locker.even it is not that uncomfortable, i think this is better.

Good location, near major tram and metro lines, perfect to explore the city. Extremely helpful and friendly host! Provided us with lots of good advice on public transport and attractions. Free breakfast included. Located near to attractions and opposite a 24 hour mini market. Definitely worth every penny. Would come back here if I ever visit Budapest again

It is a small hostel but when you live in there it became a really nice place. The staff is good and it is also near the metro where you can go around the city very easily. Love being there

I really enjoyed my stay in this Hostel, although the premises where is located it is no the best I have to admit that I felt as a home. The best point is the staff is just unbeatable, they are always friendly and willing to help you. The common room is very nice, the cleanliness is good and the location is really near to many interesting places. If I would go back to Budapest I bet again for Goat Hostel.
