The nicest staff and so helpful. Comfortable accommodations and great location

We have been three times in Budapest and for now it is the best hostel we found (and yet the previous ones were really nice places). Very friendly staff, warm atmosphere, good beds and a nice leaving room. We'll definitely choose this place the next time we come in Budapest.

The most thing that i liked it was the staff. All of them were very atentious.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Helped me out so much - I really appreciated it!

i really love this small hostel. it's really small but it has everything. and the manager invited all of us together to chat and have a drink in the dining hall. He even waked me up the next morning to catch the train when he had't slept enough. really thanks. and Steven, can you see this? i'm sorry when i left i took the wrong toothpaste in the bathroom.....

i really felt comfortable staying at the goat´s. next time i´ll definitely stay there again!

At first I was a little scared because appearance at the entrance of the building is dark. But after That I got into the hostel, I feel more reassured, because I realized That the hostel was safe and the staff were Concerned about the cleanliness of the hostel. And for me the primary and cleanliness of the place.The location is perfect and the staff are very kind.

The Goat is great! All staff members were very kind, helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was a lovely treat!

A brilliant stay over New Year at Goat Hostel. Superb, friendly and informative staff who even make you a delicious coffee each morning if you want one! Nice location - a short walk to many main sights and very close to the Great Market Hall. Only slight negative is that the shared building entrance has a bit of a bad smell. I'm sure this would be easily sorted! All in all a great stay - would definitely recommend.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Very close to all the attractions of Budapest. Staffs are very friendly and speak great English (although they seem to change everyday). There is a kitchen where you can cook stuff and a Tesco metro which is really handy for snacks and light sandwich lunch

They were awesome! So kind and helpful, and it's such a cute cozy place. It feels like a little apartment and the lounge room is really nice and the theme of goats everywhere is adorable. It is so welcoming and I would definitely decide to come here again. The location is great, right next to convenience stores and some well priced restaurants and the metro of course. the bathroom with the 2 showers having some water heating problems, (extreme cold to extreme hot) but no complaints

I really enjoyed my stay at Goat Hostel. Ended up staying longer than planned. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a good stay in Budapest. I strongly recommend Goat Hostel to travellers of all types. Can't wait to go back someday in the summertime!

The favorite part was the staff (very friendly and helpful!). We loved that they gave us a map and tips about the city (which was great b/c we knew nothing about Budapest upon arrival). The staff were fun to talk with, and they let us leave bags at the hostel after checkout til our train departed. Only complaint - parts of the hostel were starting to look physically worn. Our carpet was missing pieces, paint chipping in the WC, etc. Also, clearer signs leading to the hostel would be nice.
