Excellent staff, had an issue with a rather bizarre chap in our dorm room and they moved us without any questions. Also, they let us use the facilities for the whole day after we checked out, in fact we were that impressed with them and the hostel in whole, that we gave them a bottle of vodka on our departure. :) All in all, good rooms and the best kitchen facilities we've come across yet; nice movie room too!

Good value for money

The location was good and the room and kitchen were clean, but the staff were very unhelpful. They lie and insist that you need to give them 600 roubles to register your passport with the police but this is not actually necessary unless you stay for 7 days. Additionally, my travel partner extended his stay by 2 days and immediately after handing over the cash for it tried to change it to one day and they refused, saying no refunds. The worst service of any hostel I've been to.

A regular hostel, not well located, it's quite far to go walking to the red square. The staff is ok and it's quite clean. The room was too small for a double bed, so we could barely open our luggage in there. But the worst thing in my opinion is the lack of toilets and showers: there is usually one toilet and one shower per floor, for an average of 6-7 rooms / floor, so it clearly creates queues in the morning. And still worse, the access to the toilet is through the kitchen!! Not recommended.

The location of Godzilla's is fantastic, located close to two Metro stations and easily accessible from both. The hostel has excellent facilities, with two fully equipped kitchens, laundry, and fast, reliable wifi available throughout the building. The staff were incredibly helpful with dealing with our queries, and were able to provide information about all the sights and activities of Moscow. The free English newspaper provided daily was a nice touch too! Would definitely stay here again!

This is my first time to stay in a hostel during my second time visit to Russia. It turn out a fascinating experience.I highly recommend this hostel to anyone wants to visit Moscow

Friendly staff, very clean room, good location.

Staff was very helpful. They helped us on booking our trans-siberian tickets and gave advice about everything we asked.

If you are looking to stay in a private room, make sure you don't get no. 12. It's through a dorm room and you feel ackward passing by sleeping people. Management was not willing to accommodate our room merge at the beginning and then they did. Reception can be very slow. Patience if there are many checking in at the same time. Otherwise very nice rooms, great location, clean all around.

They've got new stuff. It's a bit annoying to tell the guy on the reception the whole check-in procedure. Guy has "print cheques" sticker on computer, and when I reminded him to do it on check-in he just said "I don't know how to do that". Although the guys who work here for longer time do their job smoothly. Would be really nice to see labelled "free sugar" / "free coffee/tea" in the kitchen. I hope that feature won't cost too much for the hostel.

I always try to stay at this hostel in Moscow. Great location and not apartment type hostel which is widespread in Moscow which is great!

Very clean and very well located. Staff very helpful. Could improve the "fun"criteria once there is no bar or common area for hanging out, but definitely would recommend and stay there again.

I recommend Godzillas Hostel. Warm hospitality, attentive staff, very clean rooms, free Internet access. The area around hostel is secure and hostel itself is located not far from Tsvetnoy Bulvar Metro station (3-5 minutes). I want to thank Godzillas staff. Everything was great! Thank you very much! I really enjoyed my stay.

I thought the hostel was great! After finishing my travels and now being back home in Australia I can see that this was easily the best hostel going around. Everything was clean and the staff were excellent! Say hi to Scott from Liam! Hopefully he remembers who I am.

I really enjoyed staying at Godzillas. The ambient is good, clean and well kept. They have an excelent kitchen, always clean. so are the toilets and bathrooms, very clean. The staff is really helpful, which is an excelent point to go for, especially when you don't speak russian. The location is amazing, really close to the metro, with nearby market, atms, stores, restaurants and cafes. I'd definitely go back.
