What a great hostel! Really clean

I really enjoyed my stay at Godzillas Hostel. It is definitely one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Scott and his team are very friendly, open for a chat and tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Moscow. The facilities are very clean and I never needed to wait for my shower. There is a kitchen when you want to cook which looks good as well although I didn't use it. And finally, the hostel is only a stone's throw away from the Red Square and all the major sights of the city.

A totally acceptable place to sleep in Moscow. Really nice, helpful staff (best English I encountered in Moscow), but not much common space so not good for hanging out. One shower and toilet on each hall are through the kitchen, which is a little weird. Most of the hostel is very clean but the kitchen on my floor was not; the surfaces were, but there was clearly ancient food left in the cabinets and they were sticky, and I don't know that they actually checked the food in the fridge that often.

The best part of my staying was when I asked the guy in the reception where to visit in the city and he told me to Google it :D But later he gave me some options of parties. It was good that they have two computers available for accessing internet. The price is too high and there is no breakfast.

It's simply a great place to stay, with a great mix of people in an unbeatable location. The staff are friendly, the facilities clean and tidy and the atmosphere relaxed, whether you are travelling alone or as part of a group you are made to feel welcome. The hostel made my visit convenient and gave me a genuinely friendly vibe for my visit to Russia. I would not hesitate to use it again or to recommend it to family and friends.

The hostel was great! It was clean and the staff was helpful. Moscow is one of the most expensive cities in the world so do no be deterred by the price.

Fantastic personal experience, even though the location is great, the building is light, spacious and clean it is the staff that make this such a good hostel. Everyone is friendly, helpful and welcoming. Happy to share local knowledge from recommending bars and places to eat to helping with Metro guides and places of interest. I would not hesitate to stay here again, this is the #1 hostel in Moscow.

The best youth hostel I've stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few in various cities around Europe. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with helping to sort out visas. The facilities (ie, bathroom and kitchen) were fantastic and everything was always clean. The location was also fantastic; the hostel was in a really quiet area but really close to the metro that got us easily to Red Square and other parts of the city. I'd definitely recommend to stay here!

Had a great experience at godzillas moscow. It's a great hostel with clean amenities. Showers and kitchens are thoroughly cleaned daily. Staff are absolutely amazing - helpful and friendly. The vibe of the hostel is also quite good, with a common room or kitchens. Really can recommend this hostel. How water did run out in the mornings at times (understandable) and the wifi was often quite spotty. Other than that, an excellent experience!

Everything was nice. We ordered private room, which was rather clean and fresh, unfortunately the scenery out of the window was dismal - blocked-wall of nearby building. Besides hostel doesnt offer breakfast, nevertheless it has its own kitchen, enough of shared bathrooms (quite neat BTW). So: no TV, no hanger in the bathroom on 2floor (extremely necessary), no breakfast service at all, BUT: nice personnel, good location, wi-fi, and distinctive design. totaly - 3,9 of 5

Amazing place, amazing stay, amazing staff! Thanks so much for a great time! The place was ridiculously clean. The bathroom was almost always available, and if not, the staff directed me to multiple other bathrooms. Clean, warm shower, great murals and bright colors everywhere. The location was superb, next to many things to do, a nice walk to the Kremlin, and other attractions such as the Gulag Museum and Museum of Modern Art. Multiple grocery and convenience stores are around. Highly recommend
