The hostel seems to be new, the whole interior is of high quality. The house is next to a river at an idyllic location but still very central (5min to the main square on foot). Unfortunately we did not feel welcome at all, the guy at the reception seemed to be angry about our arrival. He did not try to speak any English. They promise to have a kitchen but they don't. All the have is a fridge and a sink to wash dishes. There is no atmosphere at this place.

It is a very good hostel, we felt very confortable there and also we found a friendly atmosphere. I missed to have faccilities to cook. The building is new and clean and the location is wonderful the best in Suzdal so I strongly recommend it.

The price is great and totally worth it. The hostel is near the river, so the view is totally beautiful. By the way, people there are so kindly, even after that we checked out, the boss invited us to drink some tea and take a rest!!! ;)

The manageress was great - halpful & pleasant. Only suggestion, have photocopies of the map available for guests to take with them when exploring the town. The access to the hostel was like walking along a cowshed race on a New Zealand dairy farm - mud like porridge in parts. but I guess that's to do with the timing of my trip - early spring.-

This hostel was charming with very friendly lady who tried to explain me things with hands. I had a great time in the calm of this hostel which looks like a chalet. I truely recommand it!!

A very nice, friendly place to stay and relax while in beautiful Suzdal.

One of the most original and beautiful hostels I've ever seen. The renovation worked well: the beds and especially mattresses are brand new (the mattresses are definitely the best I've ever found in an hostel) and there are many beautiful and weird paintings. The common room is huge and more important has 4 giant poufs (the large bags filled with rice-like pods where you can sit/reach out/whatever = super comfortable). A big plus: you must leave the shoes outside so it's very tidy! RECOMMENDED!

The shower in the room was not working and smelling sewage, not so nice! The hostel doesn't have any kitchen! La douche de la chambre ne marchait pas et refoulait les égouts! L'hôtel n'a aucune cuisine!

On the whole, hostel was ok but compared with last year facilities and conviniences have fallen down. Showers didn't work, quests whose rooms were on the second floor had to go downtairs in order to take a shower. Moreover, one day there was a problem with the toilet. Suige system was full, we were told not to use till the next day,but the shower problems on the second floors remained.Door locks didn't work, as we locked ourselves from the inside and had to ask for help to open room from outside

I'll definitely go back there! It's a very nice hostel with excellent staff. They've made great improvements since first opening. The only things I would still really like to see are a full kitchen and laundry machines. From their website, it seems that they'll have a full kitchen ready this spring.
