Brilliant Hostel. Rooms and bathrooms fairly basic but thoroughly made up for by the excellent staff! Also its well worth doing a jungle tour through the hostel as there are various discounts and promotions, and the tour was amazing! Thoroughly recommend this hostel, excellent value for money!

One dorm is located in a room like a cellar. If you bring your own alcohol, you pay 100.- reals for each bottle the will find. so this is what's written in every corner in the house! they should write this on the website too... but all in all a goo location

Very nice stay at GOL Manaus. The staff was really, really great. Very friendly and helpfull all the time. The Amazone jungle tours they offer with Iguana tours were amazing. I would really recommand it. Had a great time! The only thing that maybe can be better is the breakfast, but thats it. Take care guys!

rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. lockers big enough for a maybe two 30L bags. breakfast is minimal but gets you through till lunch time. only downside would be the size of the bathrooms, quiet small. one addition that could be made would be rubber mats so that it keeps your feet off the ground, easier to clean and you wont slip. definitely would recommend the jungle tour and the added bonuses of free nights stay depending on your time in the jungle is very welcomed.

We stayed here one night before our amazon tour. It had all the basics and was good enough for one night.

Great place to stay, especially for the price. The showers aren't the cleanest, but the room was clean and we were to sleep well. One improvement would be to provide pad locks for valuables. To use their locked containers, you have to provide your own pad lock- nonsensical. Overall, we enjoyed it! Fred was awesome- he made us feel at home and was always willing to help us out. He even played video games with us and took us to a carnaval party!

It is extremely dirty, poor general condition, there was no curtains, so I could not get a good night of sleep. I do not recommend it at all.

This was an awful hostel. You have to pay a deposit for bed sheets that are about 20 years old! It's excellent value though if you're going on an amazon trek. If you're going on a trek book through the hostel as I think you might get free accommodation then. We didn't book through them so had to pay to stay there. Glad we didn't stay long!!!!

The staff Gol are very helpful and it is located in a good location very close to the Opera House. The breakfast was not very good and the private room I booked was very small but OK for a few days.

Very good hostel with a good location. The staff are super helpful, and have good knowledge of the city surroundings and can suggest activities and tours. The xbox is a nice addition, and the swimming pool although small is cool to chill out in. The kitchen includes an oven which is always good to save cash too.

A great hostel in the center of Manaus, right next to the Amazon Theater. Me and my friends very much liked this place, which offered a perfect base for (multi-) day trips in the region. We had a dorm room, very clean and quite comfortable. Sadfully the doors don't have locks, so everyone could enter without problems... However, there are big lockers in each room (to put in most belongings... definitely enough space for all valuables). The breakfast is rather poor, but still okay. Great place!

Larissa's the best. Very accommodating and on top of the administrative things. She's great.
