Nice fellas running the place. Good location in between beach and Lagoa town centre. Bit of a walk to the beach, but better to be nearer town facilities than just stuck at the beach. Decent traveller crowd too.

The biggest thing that bothered me was that there was no place to store secure items like money/passport and there was no cameras. No internet access because their laptop was stolen. The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms was below par (all shower curtains were covered in mold) and the building was located on a very busy road so you could not get any sleep.

Awesome people and staff, Close to the best nightclubs and beaches!! they offer cheap barbecues every week!! i recommend it!!!

Cheers boys for the great time we spent together, thanks Ricky for the amazing barbecue and Benja for teaching us surfing... that was amazing.. what a beautiful place Florianopolis, best trip ever!!!!!!! I`d definitely recommend it, awsome city.. great hostel and the coooolest staff!!
