This place is SO far away from everything that you want or need. The hill is long and steep. The view is of a huge sewage resovoir. Pretty much impossible to meet anyone to speak to. we stayed 1 night and checked out.

The place was definitely cheap and the beds were fine. Unfortunately I din get an option to see whether the place had AC when I booked. We went there to see that there was no AC and only one small fan. It was difficult in the night. The place was very very far from the main area. Phi Phi is a small island but walking to this place andlittle up the hill was very tiring especially with the luggage and hot sun. Dont waste your time and energy walking to this place

I thought the location was rather good, perched up in the hills opposed to in the noisy and chaotic centre. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable enough. I found the staff quite distant and not terribly welcoming but enjoyed my stay all in all.

Stayed in a private room next to the pool. Found ants in our bathroom when we checked in but staff was able to take care of that right away and didn't see anymore ants the rest of the 2 day stay. concerned about the noise but it was quiet. They had music playing from bar kinda loud but I guess you can say that's normal on an island? It was off by 10pm so that was great for early sleepers. pillows were great! The climb wasn't as bad as every makes it out to be unless you have luggages!

Was lovely to have a pool, and everyone made out that the location was extremely far from everything but it's not, literally not even a 10 minute walk. Showers weren't really hot and had ants in the room but overall an average stay!

They don't clean the room, there is a notice in the reception of the place telling you it when you arrive. The location is terrible, impossible to arrive if you are carrying a bag of 20 kg and a purse. it is almost in the end of the island and you have to go up stairs with the bags. Getting into the place, you have to go up more stairs to go to your room, carrying the bags by your self, the stairs are too narrow. Electricity: you have to choose between ar cond. or the room light on!

The Standard rooms do not have air condition but only a small fan. The bathroom was not very clean and the sheets were full of stains.

Good hostel. Further out than other hostels, which is good for sleeping and the quadriceps but bad if you want to be in the thick of it all the time. Nevertheless, it's only a 5 minute walk to get back into the mix. Bungalows and bathroom are in a good condition and are pretty basic, but are clean. Showers are cold. Hostel staff were all friendly and helpful.
