Our stay here was great! The owner is not at the desk often, but I e-mailed him asking about towels and he was at my door within minutes. He was very helpful with transportation information as well. We got a free upgrade to a private room since there was availability, and the facilities were very nice. All good!

It was a very nice stay! The staff is wonderful and helpful! Going back next weekend!

Staff are very nice and helpful. He shared some kimchi for us and it was so tasty. We didnt stay in the hostel all the time, we had a great time there. The location is really good. All the shops and restaurant is not far away from the hostel, and metro station is just 5 min walk from hostel.

we love our stay in the hotel and its a plus to have a very welcoming and friendly staff (Mr.Song)who helped us all the way from directions to booking the nanta show.the neighborhood is very nice and quiet.the hostel speaks for itself -golden.affordable price.good location.very nice staff.clean room.

Good welcome and the double private room was great : like a little flat. but a desk and some tools for kitchen are missing (like glasses or bowls for the minimum).

Very nice staff who was extremely helpful! There was a mix up and we didn't the room we requested, but they gave us a larger room to compensate. It was an overall very good experience and I would stay there again.

Room for improvement: The Golden Pond is in a lovely, small neighborhood with lots of great food and charming shops. It's within walking distance of the major palace complexes and only two blocks or so from a subway station, so it's a great place to stage your adventure. On the downside, the rooms were plain and fairly clean; the halls, however, had significant mold. The bathrooms are clean but a bit ragged. The shower was missing the showerhead, and water pressure was near zero. Plus: noisy.

Family like atmosphere from the very beginning. Excellent experience! Great area and extremely welcoming staff. We've been upgraded upon arrival to a bigger room (did not have to pay for the difference).Hong has helped us a lot further - great recommendations (sightseeing, food, clubs), Would definitely recommend it further and rebook again
