Cleanliness was superb, great great hospitality, food excellent. Free bike, free flow tea n coffee n banana 24hours. This can beat any 6 star hotel , hands down. I would recommend this place to everyone. Heck we are going back

We loved our stay at the Golden Temple Villa. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with nice beds...it's hard to believe it's a hostel, not a hotel! The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and set us up with amazing tuk tuk drivers for our Angkor Wat tours. We also thoroughly enjoyed the free 30 minute massages. It has an extremely central location (only a 5ish minute walk from the main restaurant/shopping areas), which is nice after a long day of temple touring. We'd stay there again!

This hotel is great! We had a warm welcome and all facilities were introduced to us. However we have to remark that some staff were rude when we left the hotel and while we were asking information as regards the location of the bus station. Maybe because we did not buy the tickets through them or maybe they were busy with Khmer New Year, but they did not seemed to care. Except this downside, everything was perfect!

Overall,ok especially location and atmosphere. However,we were unhappy with: 1)we booked 3 rooms and upon arriving the staff told us they have prepared all 3 rooms on same floor but due to some circumstances they only have 2 rooms. So,we ended up squeezing 4 people in one room for the 1st night. But that's fine with us. 2)we were double charged the deposit for the room that they fail to give us on 1st night. We tried to explained but failed. We paid still as we in rush to leave for the airport.

please dont suggest guests use the Hep Tat travel compnay fror the bus journey to Bangkok. in particular the mini van journey from the border to Bangkok was aweful. People and bags were squezed into the vans. No leg room. Bad tempered driver. The company should have provided at least one, if not two, more vans for the journey to accomodate the number of travellers. If there had been an accident it would have been very difficult for the people in the minivan to get out.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the guest house was very central and the options for day trips offered were excellent value. We eat at the restaurant each night because of its lovely surroundings in a garden setting. I will be recommending the GTV to other friends who intend to visit Siem Reap

This hostel was absolutely beautiful and in a great location! Its a few minute walk to the popular pub street but not close enough that the music and noise keeps you awake. The staff was very helpful in setting up tours and even upgraded my room when I arrived. The only complaint I have was that the bathroom was really below standards and the rest of the hostel. The toliet didn't work all the time and the shower was completely clogged. Later I switched rooms and the bathroom was much better

Golden Temple made our stay in Siem Reap an absolute joy. The staff were so welcoming, we found ourselves eating at the restaurant more often than not just to continue enjoying their company and the fantastic atmosphere. They're located about a block off the main road, so things are quiet at night. Also, their iced lemon tea (the welcome drink) has got to be one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted - we couldn't stop ordering it all week long! Thanks again, Golden Temple!
