The hostel was great. We had a very warm welcome early in the morning after taking a night bus and we were even offered a free breakfast ! The room was a good value for the price and the location is perfect: close to the old city, but in a more quiet area (perfect for a good sleep !) Finally the staff was really helpfull and cheerfull !

Anne, Tony and Alice (and another man who's name I didn't catch!) were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept, the location was amazing, and we felt totally safe there. They were great about making a delicious breakfast, changing money at bank rates for us, and booking us an incredible day trip to Tam Coc. They also took care of our train tickets for us with only a tiny delivery fee. We had a friend from Vietnam stay a night and he was impressed by staff integrity.

The staff was overrated here on hostel world. They speak poor English, what makes it difficult to ask for proper help to go around. Even though, they payed my taxi to the airport! Location is definitely perfect and no need to worry about it. Showers are in the same space as toilet and basin.

The hostel is located in the old quarter and therefore very central. In my opinion it is more an hotel than hostel. The staff is extremely friendly and always there if one needs help. Breakfast is included which is a great plus. I cn only recommend this place and I am certain you will not find a better one in this price range.

This place was great to stay at. All the staff were super helpful, and friendly. You're greeted with fresh fruit and offers of tea/coffee or water. They took our packs up to the 3rd floor for us. I really liked Alice she was lovely and organized our overnight trip to Halong bay, which was great. We got to leave our packs there and organized to stay when we came back.

One of the best hostel i 've ever experienced in South East Asia with clean room, Good location(2 minutes walking to the lake), and friendliest staff who made us feel like our homes right the time we came in. Alice is really informative and helpful, she tries her best to find the best services in Hanoi for us. Michael, and Tony have good sense of humour make us happy all the time. tea and coffee is always available in the reception. Trip to Ha Long Bay which Alice organised is excellent.

I was travelling alone but the hostel made me feel like home!Staff are welcoming and friendly that they treat everyone as friends, always offering coffee/tea and fruit to me. Tony and Alice were especially helpful and nice. They took me out to the city with their motorbikes and showed me around where to buy good coffee. They also taught me how to say some simple Vietnamese and I enjoyed the night talking with them. Rooms are clean and more than you can ask for with the price. Highly recommended!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Good location very near the old quarter but a little away from the chaos. Big comfy beds, good hot showers, good air con, fast wifi and yummy free fruit and coffee. The only think I didn't like was the breakfast (sorry guys!) but it's included in the price so you can take it or leave it. Very good value for money. We were so happy with it that we went back again after trekking.

We've stayed at Golden Time for 2 nights before leaving to Ha Long Bay and Sa Pa. We got a free room to shower and check emails and stuff every time we returned from our trips. Rooms are simple but perfectly clean. Although situated on Ly Thai To street all rooms are very quiet, have air con and a private bathroom. The staff is very helpful and never pushy to sell you tours. For budget travellers this is the perfect spot very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the old quarters. Fully recommended.

Great mini hotel, best one after 3 months in SE Asia. Lovely room nicely decorated with good aircon, soft bed and hot shower. Spotless and cleaned every day. 5 minutes walk to old town but nice and quiet at night. What really makes it special is the wonderful staff: very helpful with info about tours but not pushy. They always welcome you when you come in with offers of tea, coffee or fruit and really make it home from home. Special thanks to the lovely Alice and charming Michael.
