The staff here were exceptional - they offered tea/coffee and watermelon on arrival! They were always happy and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were really nice and clean.

To be greeted with a cup of tea and watermelon on arriving---fantastic. Alice is outstanding, but all the staff terrific and kind. Perfect place to be in Hanoi. A great start to Vietnam which hasnt been equalled yet.

No major complaints, ask them for help with booking tours ahead of time.

My favorite hostel in Vietnam!!!! great location by the lake and the friendliest staff ever!!!! tea or coffee when ever you are by the reception, breakfast in bed included and lots of info and help (even with very strange requests we had). Feels like family! we were there for three nights and i would come back for sure!!!! thanks sooo much guys! Mayrav and Renana

Would stay here again. Fantastic and friendly staff that will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Very good value for money, clean and spacious rooms.

Our stay at Golden time hostel was great. Tony the manager was amazing, really making sure we had a great time at his hostel. You would get free coffee or tea everytime you walk past the reception. The tours he recommended were really good, for a fair price. And inbetween tours on the same day you would get a room for a couple of hours so you could get a shower and a rest for free.

very nice hostel with nice rooms. the owner does everything making you happy and is very friendly. we booked our halong bay trip here and were more than satisfied for the price.

Very satisfied. the place in nice, the room is big, the staff is very kind and helpfull. I will definitely come again at the Golden times hotel.
