Hostel was ok, but it is quite far out of town. The kitchen were quite good but one of the staff members would often get a bit agitated when it was in use. Overall not to bad.

This place had a pool (not v clean but they tried) and free towels! However kitchen was a state and all guests are there for ayahuasca which is fine if that's your thing but they drove us mad. Talked about it non stop, like a hippy drug den with cold showers... You have to get a tuk tuk into town as its quite far and the guy on reception didn't order our taxi to airport for the right day! The old girl kindly got up at 3am though to sort us a cab out which was very much appreciated!

Nice, quiet, hostel, abit further away from the town. Showers were inconsistent. Hostel was relatively clean.

Stayed in a private room adjacent to pool which was clean and comfortable except for the heat. Fan does little to help. Nice pool, OK location.

Nice, clean hostel run by a friendly son and mother team (I presume). It's a bit of a trek to the plaza de armas (1km-10 min walk) but is surrounded by cheap eats. The hostel is relatively full but not much atmosphere. Pros include free towels, 24 front desk, free bag storage. Internet is generally fast, especially by Amazon standards.

It's a not bad hostel but could do with some TLC! I had a private room the first night and dorm the second. Dorm is worth the money! There is a locker and front door is locked, staff gave lots of info and a map on arrival. 2 mins in a moto taxi to the Malecon. Lacked a bit of atmosphere but maybe that's because it was raining when I was there so no one used the pool! Overall pleasant enough stay!

We stayed in a double room at Golondrinas and had a great experience. The staff were really nice and helpful with directions, etc. The highlight was booking a 3-day jungle tour through the hostel with the ever-enthusiastic Vily! The only potential downsides of the hostel were the location (a 10-15 minute walk from the center, so we often took a cheap mototaxi) and the atmosphere - it wasn't a very social hostel when we stayed. The pool is a nice plus in the Iquitos heat.

Fantastic staff! Very helpful with booking last minute flights when our plans had to change. Hostel itself was nice, would definitely stay there again

Good solid no-nonsense hostel within a safe 10-15 min walk of the centre of town. The family work hard to keep the place spiffy and to ensure that your stay is smooth and enjoyable. The pool is a welcome bonus on a blistering hot day. Highly recommended.
