The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is not that convenient for central Nairobi but if you're prepared to make the effort (it's not so difficult - just take matatu route 15 and ask for Malezi School) it's a rewarding place to stay, where you can feel totally relaxed without any of the hassles or security issues of the city. And it is convenient for exploring Langata and Karen, where there is much of interest. You can easily walk or use matatus to get around.
