I really like my stay in this hostel. I absolutely love the decoration. They have colorful music graffiti, vinyl cds on the walls! And breakfast was so delicious. And it's free! They serve two kinds of ham, cheese, two different jams, cottage cheese and chocolate cream! The good thing is that the hostel is open 24 hours so you can come back anytime you want. I've stayed in many hostels before but this one has become my favourite one! I will definitely stay there again!

It's hard to find, mabye a big sign would do, a lot of stairs and small bathrooms with no ventilation. Beds are hard and there not enough electrical plugs. I was expceting more, since I heard from friends about goodbye lenin hostel, perhaps they were talking about the other one, 15 min away :)

My only advice: don't go there. I have never seen a place so dirty as this one ! The room was very dirty and sticky, the bathroom was disgusting (not to mention the toilets....) Luckily, the hostel was very good located and the staff welcoming

Owner Comment (Show)
We are so sorry for the inconvenience. But during your stay, we were painting and renovating our bathroom -- the one that was next to your room. Our aim is to improve our facilities, so after that we hope you understand this temporary inconvenience. Regards, GBL Staff

As for me, the hostel is well situated and the personnel is quite nice BUT the hostel is really dirty... The floor of our room was sticky, the bathroom was disgusting (toilets, shower and floor not cleaned). I wouldn't recommend this hostel for people who care for cleanliness.

Nice hostel, Well located. people must understand your paying cheap prices you cannot expect everything and if you want everything then you must pay for it. that is the way of the world. didnt have breakfast but looked like a good morning fuel. only gripe is lockers in bedroom were just cupboards easily popped open. really friendly helpful staff, generally as clean as you'd expect for shared bathrooms. wifi goes up to some rooms not just common room. Would definetly stay again. brilliant valu

Really helpful and friendly staff, the blonde girl (didn't catch her name, sadly) was really nice! Great free breakfast too, and I've never had a staff to do the dishes for me during breakfast in a hostel (so awesome). Excellent location. Rooms were really spacious too. Only concern was that the lockers didn't feel secure at all; it could easily be broken into if someone really wants to do it.

Nice place to stay very social, always someone to hang out with downstairs or in the dorms. Only downside the mattress was a bit thin onto hard boards.

Great staff and good bedrooms, the hostel is very close to the city center and a cheap supermarket, is great to buy beers and food and take all to the reception. Great atmosphere!!

The staff was amazing! Very helpful and always in a good mood. But also the location is perfect. It's right in the city centre so you never need to take public transport. I enjoyed staying there very much and would always love to come back.

A FANTASTIC hostel! It was truly at the center of everything in Krakow - we walked to every place we wanted to go to. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the dorm rooms are quite spacious for a hostel, and our stuff was always secure. They have a great breakfast spread, and even offer free tea and coffee throughout those cold Krakow days! They were fun, too - we went to the other Good Bye Lenin for a Polish vodka tasting :)

I think it's an exquisite hostel.... The staff were very helpfull and really polite with everyone... No complain was made by anyone while we stayed there and we'd love to visit goodbye lennin hostel if we ever return to Krakow! Thanks to the location we were able to walk the city from each corner to another and still be near the hostel. We are very glad and lucky we booked this place.. My mood was up every day i woke up, because of he walls, the music and the reception

Very pleased with the location, right in the center of everything and pretty easy to find from the directions given although I did walk past it the first time as I was looking for a Heiniken sign as described but it is a small brown sign with hostels name on it. However said the free coffee and hot chocolate facilities were amazing considering how cold it was in Krakow. Staff were also very friendly and willing to help with an questions, their recomendation of eating at Pod Wawelem was spot on.

The location of this hostel was great, as it was within quick walking distance from everything in the center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and having laptops in the lobby with internet access was convenient. Our only complaints were that our room was extremely hot and the bathroom had quite a bad smell the whole time (4th floor). Overall we'll recommend it to others.

Stay in this hostel was a surprise for me because the average is high and i thought that it would be better. The rooms and toilets are not very clean. Despite this the staff is amazing, they are very helpful. And also the breakfast is good. If u have many luggage is not the right place because there are to many stairs.
