I really enjoyed my stay there and the staff are fantastic! I shall be going back to this hostel on my next wander to Poland!

This is a nice hostel with pretty much all the hostel amenities you could want. I actually really like the location nearer to the jewish district then center because there are more authentic restaurants etc in the area. I would like it better if the did not allow smoking (in the attached bar) because it seems to permeate the entire hostel.

GBL is really a great hostel. Its staff is the best one. They are friendly and helpful, and you always find one of them in the reception.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lockers under the beds. The pub and the garden are very nice.
Maybe the common bathrooms are small when the hostel is full, but they are kept very clean.

Great hostel though in the Jewish area rather then the old town. It takes about 15min to walk to the old town, but it is definately worth the stay. Nice kitchen downstairs and lounge/bar area. good place to meet other travellers. Amazing Lody (icecream) shop around the corner... just look for the place with the massive line out the front.
