While this is not the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in, it is by far the friendliest and most pleasant. The staff went above and beyond their typical duties on a daily basis, because running the Good Feeling hostel is a lifestyle decision for the owners. All of the staff and guests are invited to enjoy an open, family-style surfer lifestyle while they're staying in Raposeira, Portugal. Do note that the location is not in a major city, so it's useful but not vital to have a rental car.
Best hostel I've stayed in. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The hostel is really nice and clean.
GoodFeeling was great - one of the most chilled out hostels we stayed at on our trip! It was a bit out of the way, which meant that at night it was quiet and peaceful. This is a real surfers hostel, every morning the staff will take you out to the beach and pick you up in the evening. Staff were really awesome! There isn't really much security - the doors are unlocked all the time but there was no reason to feel unsafe. I would definitely recommend this hostel and would stay here again.
Really good hostel, super friendly staff! Had a really relaxing stay.
Amazing hostel. There was a great chilled out atmosphere, especially in the evenings with the bar and music. The staff were incredibly helpful with suggestions, surfing and beach drop offs! Great facilities and nice options of eating meals as a group. Also, the best mojitos we have ever had!
Some small problems with hot water, but I think its a general problem in the Algarve region.
This is a very basic hostel with an awkward mix of guests, and slightly disinterested staff. All the extra activities are quite costly for a budget traveller. In saying that, it was a nice beach break, and a chance to see the Algarve away from the madness of Lagos.
