The mattress covers were pretty dirty looking, with stains and some had tears. The woman with short hair at the reception desk was rude to me when I asked her if I could borrow a hair dryer. I didn't get wi-fi in my room. The hostel is a bit far away from the main part of the city but there's a tram stop close by. The kitchen and dining areas were big and pretty clean.

Not far from tram stop that you take from Central Station. Hop off tram, take a left and it'll be on your right about 3-5 minute walk. Wifi is weak. Toilet paper is the texture of thin paperback book pages. Have to pay for linen, beds fairly comfortable, Quiet at night, well lit, not a place to really meet other travelers. Staff isn't very informed about the area, and English is sub-par. Good, full kitchen, can do laundry there for about 5 Euro, but have to work around the cleaner's schedule.

You should have reception hours in mind- unfortunately it isn´t 24/7 at all!

Location and facilities are good, but it was not so easy to get in for check in at 6 p.m. and to find the girl at the reception too. They should also warn you need to pay an extra for bed linen.

The hostel has an excellent location for those, who like to enjoy the Liseberg Amusement Park, the Museum of World's Culture and the Universeum - Science Discovery Centre as well. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Dormitory was fine but as almost any other swedish hostels, it was missing some atmosphere. Many people just stayed in their rooms and there was not pretty much going on in the common areas.

I've never come across a place that only has reception open for two hours for check in. When you book you're meant to get codes to gain access into the hostel, but if they don't supply them to you or answer the phones or emails when you ask to get them, makes it a bit hard to get in and can ruin your plans! After the staff leaves it seems like a few of the locals have discovered this and come in to use the facilities and help themselves to the food. Dirty showers just topped it.
