I had a really horrible experience here. My first night a group came in in the middle of the night and there weren't enough beds, they had double booked a bed. My 2nd night I came back to a guy sleeping in my bed and my stuff gone. My suitcase was at the front desk, but they did not know where the rest of my things (pjs, clothing, shampoos etc...) were. All they did was assign me a new bed and told me they could do nothing else. I thought compensation for my things was the least they could do.I had a really horrible experience here. Location was close to the Cathedral. It was clean but the showers were cold. The major downfall is that half the beds are lofted so if you get a top loft you have to climb up a ladder, which is a pain to take all your stuff up and down. Breakfast was good though. I couldn\'t have asked for a better time in Barcelona. I was not expecting to extend my stay another three nights, but I didn\'t want to leave. It is in an excellent location, and with outstanding energy: easy to connect with people, both travelers and locals in the neighborhood. Anyone I meet now who is on their way to Barca I\'m sending to Gothic Point! ...And never such a good night\'s sleep on the road: I could swear their mattresses are tempur-pedic...
