This was a good location, 5 mins outside of Northbridge, 20 mins from Central Perth, 5 mins walk North to Coles supermaret and McDonalds. We stayed in a 6 bed female dorm, the room was small but had good size individual lockers but make sure bring own lock. Also had air con which was on between 6pm - 6am roughly. Kitchen facilities were poor - no oven, 1 fridge which was far too full, gas turned off at 9pm and rat spotted in kitchen. Limited bathroom facilities. Friendly place, met great people.

This hostel is very nice, very very clean. In your dorm you have air co, it is really important when it is 40degree outside! Except one thing : when they find that there are too much plates no washed... they switch off the gaz so then you cannot cook anymore! They don t give you any warnings... then you try to eat somethimg uncook...

This was a nice hostel but no luggage storage through the day so bags and belongings had to be left in the communal area next to the front door which remained wide open. Food was stolen but no signs anywhere to with warnings. All staff were very nice to me but I heard bad reports from other guests. One who complained about the reception being closed much of the day with the reply that "for $30 what do you expect". Overall, a good hostel but paying backpackers also deserve good customer service!

I had a very nice time in Perth and that was also due to the awesome people I met in the hostel. The hostel got a very confi atmosphere which helps to get around easily. Thx.

It was a great find close to Fremantle when Perth does that weird thing with no accommodation available. I was on business and so didn't spend much time there. But it was way better than $100/night the night before at Governor Robinson's. Good restaurants nearby too.

I think that the rating on hostel world was significantly generous. The bathroom was small and in my experience as a drafter definite not upto Australian Standards. I would try elsewhere.

The atmosphere of this hostel, particularly the common area, is good for knowing and chatting with other guests, and it is nicely decorated. The hostel is also clean, but could be improved by having soap in the washroom. One minor problem would be that the fridge is always very full. Otherwise it is really quite nice a hostel. And Deanna and the gentleman there are very sweet and friendly hosts who make you feel warm and welcome.

The first night I stayed in a six bedded dorm which was fine, but quite cramped. Take your own padlock for the storage! The next night I stayed in a double bedded room with a ensuite which was very comfortable and great if your after a little more luxury! Altough walls were thin and often noisy. 10minute walk to CBD. There seemed to be a mystery lack of toiletpaper in communal toilets. Staff were very friendly and helpful! I would stay here again!

Unfortnately the hostel did not use the publicised airconditioners. When asked about these the owners were very snappy and said it wasn't summer so they wouldn't be going on. The lounge area was ok but the TV was not allowed on during the day and when it was allowed on the sound could not be altered meaning no one could hear. The facilities need work as the bathroom (male) had one shower with a broken light switch which was rather dangerous. The other had no lock on the door. Kitchen needs work!

The hostel itself has great facilities--clean rooms, nice bathrooms, big enough kitchen (though could do with more fridge space). Atmosphere is pretty quiet (11 PM quiet policy). There are two warnings though--1) internet access is only on 1 old desktop computer (no wifi here), and can only be used during reception hours, which 2) are inconvenient, from 9AM to 1PM and 5PM to 7PM. But overall, I enjoyed the stay and no major issues.

This hostel presents well on the surface but there were a number of minor problems which made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been. These included: No toilet paper in two women's toilets No soap to wash hands after toilet Switch faulty in men's toilet, so it was pitch dark. Soap containers in showers broken Inadequate places to hang clothes in shower so they went on the floor. Only a couple of mugs in the kitchen No tea-towel hangers.Fridge overloaded-too small.Lack of clean sponge
