Awesome place. If you stay in Tampa, you have to stay here!... We had never heard of Ybor before but the owner recommended we check it out as it's not that far from the hostel, so glad we did. Sort of a New Orleans vibe there, had a great night! Then when we got back to the hostel the owner gave me and my buddy guitars and we played a few songs. Would of loved to have been able to stay longer!

Gram's place is simply the best hostel I've stayed in. I had booked a bed in a dorm for 2 nights but I felt so good there that I ended up staying 4 nights. Not only the outdoor area is gorgeous and feels like the eden garden, the dorms are comfy, and the whole place is spotless clean, but most of all the staff is so great that I felt like they were my family. Bruce, Frank and Luis were always here to help and they treated me like a friend and for this I will always be grateful to them. Charlotte

Good value for money! Owner is knowledgable about the area. The bed was comfortable, kitchen adequate, breakfast fair. Bathroom/shower were not very fair.

i was a little concerned about the location when i got to gram's hostel. however when i was inside this very retro artsy hostel i was surprised by the welcoming staff and cozy atomsphere. i had wonderful conversations with many travelers and was happy to have experienced this very unique hostel. i would go back again since my experience was positive.

This was an amazing hostel, the staff were very friendly and we met some awsome people, there was some entertainment on their mini stage, and the whole place had so much to see around every corner. Easy busses to town centre, the rooms were very well equiped with towles, sheets, A/C. We enjoyed every day spent here.
