Good mix of age groups. Staff weren't very welcoming at first but were okay in the end. Cool place really. But just in the middle of no where really. Literally in the suburbs with a $10 cab ride to Ybor and the bars.
Nice make-it yourself breakfast. The only problem was that I was waiting 2.5 hours for being checked-in (but I received a glass of wine for appologize).
First impression was that there was a dead rat and some aging weirdo rock guy staring at us who wasn't even staying there or working there when we arrived. But it turned out good. No issues w anyone or anything. I was about to leave though when I saw the dead rat. Hadn't ever seen that before at a hostel.
really nice place. you can feel like in your own home and in your own kitchen.
Friendly, safe, and quirky environment that feels like summer camp for adults.

under renovation but nice place to stay even if the surrounding area in itself is not so great
