Property Information:
This stylish and comfortable hostel was architecturally designed to protect and compliment the Grampians environment while providing guests with a truly unique travel experience.
Our YHA welcomes individuals, couples, families and groups of all ages with plenty of private rooms and no more than four beds in a dorm.
The Grampians Eco YHA has a fully equipped kitchen with specialty items including bread makers and rice cookers, plus the seasonal availability of organically grown herbs, vegetables and fruit. Free range eggs are also offered to guests from the resident chickens, when available.
We utilise solar hot water along with state-of-the-art energy and water conservation techniques to reduce consumption to approximately 50% of the standard hostel. Our hostels innovative passive solar design and cosy wood heaters ensure that the hostel remains at a comfortable year-round temperature without excessive energy use.
Situated in Halls Gap at the entrance to the Grampians National Park, our eco hostel is the ideal base for a range of outdoor activities, including bushwalking, rock climbing, abseiling and golf.
Alternatively, you can hope to spot some native wildlife in the hostels landscaped native gardens or relax by the cosy wood heater in the communal lounge.

Really nice stay of 2 nights. Even if it's a little bit expensive, it really worth it. Nothing bad to say. :)
