I really enjoyed staying at the Gran Bolivar. We were only passing through Lima, but Gran Bolivar was located in a very convenient place off the Plaza San Martin. That made it accessible to the other things we wanted to do (walk down Jiron de la Union, visit the Plaza de las Armas, and see the catacombs at San Francisco). In addition, the building is gorgeous, the rooms comfortable, staff is available 24/7 for late-night check-in, and the included breakfast and coffee were delicious!

Great Historical Hotel. lovely clean rooms with high cielings and huge bathroom , if not a little battered over time but adds to the charm, famous for originating the pisco sour cocktail which you can still enjoy on the varander. nice breakfast .
