Owners charge full amount on your credit card and do not stay in the hostel permanently, only visiting it. But the rest is great, especially the 6-people room with the balcony over exceptional Gran Via. Definitely worth to recommend
it is a clean hostel and the location is perfect. the problem is that because there are not so many rooms(aprx.6) you cant meet people throught the hostel. Althought Madrid has a vast number of bars and clubs were you can meet many people
When we arrived the owner wasn't there to let us in so we had to wait for about an hour before we could get in contact with him. Other than that it was a great location and a good room. Nothing fancy but just what we needed :) the kitchen had really good facilities! Good stay overall
There was no sign about the hostel. The host was really nice and always wanted to help. The hostel was very clean and it had a really nice kitchen with everything in it (microwave, oven etc.). You could have breakfast at any time! Unfortunately we couldn`t lock the door from the inside. The room was seperated with a wall from another so that you could hear everything from the room next to you. That was bad:( But all in all it was nice staying there.
The lock on the door were broken, the shower did not work, and the bathroom were infected with bugs.

A great place just 2 min away from the metro and Plaza de Espana, great views from the balcony and just a great place to spend some nights in Madrid!
