I can't speak highly enough of the place. The staff couldn't be more helpful. JB has the sexual charisma of Leonardo DiCarprio, girls trawl in his wake so if you want to hook up just follow in his slipstream. The location is ideal and the booze is plentiful. It should be obvious but if you want a relaxing stay DO NOT come here. If you want to party all night, get the ride, loud music and have an unholy disregard for social norms and your liver's capacity to function then this is the place.

Staying here was great. The staff was really friendly, and they even went out of their way to help my lost friend get a taxi to the location even though no one really knew where she was. Also, at night, they put on great music and we had some great discussions. As far as location goes, you have to take a tram or bus to get to the city center, but the staff is really helpful in giving you exact information on what to take and when. I really liked the location though. great hostel.

It was a very nice place a great location...a little out of the city center but ery easy to get to by train tram.. Pretty much any way..the people work work there are very awesome and very helpfull...i travel alot and i think this is one the best hostels i been to yet..l.

Me and my three friends stayed at the grand hostel, and had an amazing time. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The grand hostel is a little bit farther away from the nighlife in budapest but totally work the tram ride. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

i would say that this hostel is a great place to go during the summer with a group of friends! its got a spot for bbq and its in the buda hills so great place to chill! but its in the buda hills!!so its far from city centre!tram and metro ride! having said that, its really warm and cosy and great place to put the head down! staff werent super friendly as advertised though and theres certainly no welcome drink!

The location is a little bit far from the center and the transport is not so convenient,but the others are good. And thanks to send the postcards for us.(*^__^*)

Pretty decent price. Party hostel, not the best location. However the showers are decent, with good pressure and temperature. Must stay in a 4 bed room, in the other ones you might not be getting much sleep.
