I loved this hostel. Very close to the old town and the water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of my favorite hostels.

The Grand Hostel was great for the location, the staff was super friendly and nice. The rooms were good, but caution if you have a heavy bag! There are about 4 stories, not a big deal though. The bathrooms don\'t have any ventilation and are small so they get a little stuffy and dirty, but nothing the average person can\'t deal with. Would pick it again!

My room literally smelt like there had been rabbits or hamsters or any kind of rodent in a cage was stored there! Since when is checking into a room at6 am was allowed? Most of the rules that you apply to us are not/ were not inforced! Such as quiet times, shoes, eating in room, checking in ect. Why have rules when you don't even follow them? However great location! Average hostel breakfast...

Unfortnatly the nights I stayed there were impossible to find some sleep. There is a club downstairs, the doors and walls are so thin, that I fell out of bed everytime the other guests came home. If sleep is somehow important, this hostel wont be my choise next time. If party and fun and long nights are the goal: definitly.

Nice place to stay in the very center of Gdansk!

The hostel is located in the old town and a ten minutes walk away from the main train station. The hostel has a nice kitchen and small lounge area. The hostel has a cozy atmosphere and you have to wear house shoes.

Great location, in the city center. The hostel is very clean and calmed. The beds are OK and the rooms too. They have good facilities, i.e. the kitchen with all the utilities and the living room. Good breakfast as well. A nice place to stay.

This hostel is among the top in all aspects. Very clean, located in the very heart of Gdansk old town and breakfast service is fantastic comparing to other hostels.

There are only nice and friendly people working there! We had a lot of fun with them and are thankful for their help.

The location of the hotel is great! We lived right in the center of the city, 2 steps from the main street of the Old city and 10 minutes from railway and bus station. The atmosphere is really great, people on the reception are extremely friendly. I'm from russia, and one girl even wondered how "hi" is in russian and then always said me and my girlfriend "Привет" when she saw us. Free Wi-FI, even laptop that everyone can use, good atmosphere and great location. Really recomend to visit it :)

probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The location couldn't be better - in the middle of the center. Staff is super super friendly, 24 h reception. The room is lovely (new furniture), enough bathrooms and WCs, everything is very clean. If you come to Gdanks - stay in this hostel, you definitely won't regret it. We had an awesome time here!
