1. No Sign board for the guest house, not sure if this is a legal guest house, the guesthouse is at the apartment buildings. 2. Toilet dirty, the guests are need to wait to use the washroom for anything.. 3. Since this is a small apartment unit, the room is small to cater for so many quests in one room.

Good hostel. Staff really supportive, helping us writing all the adresses we wanted in chinese. Also, great location, next to a good cheap restaurant street, and only two metro stations away from the big shopping area in Shenzhen.

Small apartment style hostel. Was conveniently close to the HK border. Room was a bit cramped and could do with another bathroom, but apart from that it was fine.

if a hostel's location is important to u, then this is it! right in the heart of downtown shenzhen, the short-cut to the hostel is literally a 2 minute walk from the subway exit, altho arriving for the first time, one would take the slightly longer route (about 5 minutes). the gripe about the occassional long bathroom wait from previous reviewers is accurate, and the trick is to go to bed / wake up very early or late. no microwave in kitchen, and the stove wasn't working when i was there.

Even I paid the deposit and sent a arrival confirmation but they still gave a bed for anyone who can pay asap. Moreover, I booked a Ladies dorm but there were men stay in the room bcoz no any women book this time, so I need to share with men. If you‘re a lady and not strict to stay with men even you booked a ladies dorm+accept a smelly toilet. Here will be a good choice. It is near by Subway, Banks, restaurant and shopping area. It's super convenient! Staffs(JD, Echo)are helpful, friendly.

A great place to stay and out of the 3 places I stayed in SHenzhen this one was the best . The owners are helpful and friendly. If you need anything just ask them. It is a good location from downtown especially if you want to visit the nightlife or spend the day looking around or shop for electronics or whtever, this place is very convient. Look no further, this is the place to stay by far.

There is only one bathroom for up to 14 guests and only one computer for customer use. There also isn't enough room to hang washed clothes to dry. The hostel needs to expand into a bigger space, and it needs to hire more employees. I only met two staff people during my stay, and they appeared to be exhausted most of the time. I found Yong to be friendlier and more helpful to me than Echo. Yong was on duty duriing most of my stay. Overall, I still liked the place. It's intimate and cozy.

This is not a hostel. It's an apartment with a few bunk beds in each room. 1 rather unclean bathroom between 12 people. No facilities to speak of. I won't be going back.

decent, cheap stay in a good location. my main issue is that there is only one toilet and shower. that can be a huge problem if u r in a rush and have to wait an hour in line just to clean up or take a sh*t. i had to just sit there and wait for some girl to finish her 40 minute shower or whatever she was doing in there. the internet was also impossibly slow.

Its pretty hard to find, there are no signs outside and the Hostel is in a big usual appartmenttower. The Hostel itself is also made in an usual appartment. But it was clean, secure and have all you need. Would stay here again!

A small converted apartment; bathroom to guest ratio a bit low; view is amazing; cozy common area and the one night I was there it was easy to get social with other guests; majority foreign travelers during my stay; right near subway and a few food options in walking distance too; lockers are relatively small, for valuables only, but can leave luggage in the reception area if needed; biggest plus is probably the social factor

Stayed for 1 night, to cross the border with HK the next day. Felt immediately at home in the comfy commonroom, with nice view over the city. Dormrooms are nog that big, though big enough for a couple of nights. Shower was hot, but bathroom got flooded, through due to the many people who took a shower before. Little adjustment would be nice. Conveniently located, 2 minute walk from Grand Theater metrostation, only 3 stops (10 min) to Luohu (HK border). Would stay here again!

Good atmosphere; such a small hostel means that you have to meet everyone but that's what I liked about it. It in an apartment so that means only one bathroom and the bathroom gets flooded, which is kind of a pain.

I enjoyed the stay! While I realize there's limitations to what can be done in the space of a single apartment that's used as hostel, I would recommended making towels available to guests for a minimum charge.

I felt like I was staying at my friend's home. The hostel owner was friendly and funny guy. It would be better if there are more restrooms or separate toilet and shower room. I heard that the owner are looking for a bigger place, but I'd like to suggest not to forget to provide common area for guests who want to chit chat and share their travel experience. It's nice to meet some new friends including the owner, haha, hope to meet them again. :) survivory@hotmail.com or facebook.com/ekarin
