Almost a great place, but not quite... They need to work on the shower area a little, and if they are going to stay open year round, then they have to get some heating sorted out! That said, its in a good location, the rooms are clean and not crowded, and the staff are lovely, so its still worth a visit.

Excellent hostel but sadly due to a group of rowdy boys who were screaming and shouting throughout the hostel up until 2am and then started again at 6am we were kept awake all night.

It's the first hostel we've ever stayed at that is marked on the city maps. It was easy to find, had a good kitchen, was a little cold but there was a heater in our room. Prepare for an up hill walk from the train station. Would stay again.

The hostel is nice, but a bit messy. The kitchen is always dirty. Someone had thrown up in the toilet and it was dirty all morning. The staff is kind, but not very professional. One morning I had to wait until late for the guy to change my keys because he was still sleeping. The location is great, though.

Nice location hostel. Easy to find. When we were staying their were a lot of teenagers making noise over 23.oo o'clock. So we didn't have enough sleep but rather than that would be really nice place to stay!

Located really close to Praça da República (and the University etc). Staff were helpful enough but didn't seem to be able to give much useful information on Coimbra itself. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms. Slightly difficult to locate from the outside and looks a bit "dodgy", but inside it is very nice. There doesn't seem to be a 24 hour reception but there is no curfew. Nice common room and a pretty good breakfast is included.

Very nice one. Not perfectly run, but I really enjoyed the extra relaxed and friendly attitude of the staff. Breakfast was whenever you happened to wake up, for example. I eventually spend here several extra nights because I just didn\'t feel any rush to depart and found myself still sitting in the couch few hours before the darkness. Wifi was ok and there was room for my bicycle too. Only substantial complaint could be made about ants. Some of them tried to drink my beer.

I had to wait over 30 minutes at the door because the boy at the reception had fallen asleep and didn't hear the bell. Also afterwards he was not very attentive. Beside this the hostel is OK.
