Good: Nice outdoor spaces, nice kitchen, nice lounge. Could improve: Ban smoking in more areas. It was quite hard to get away from the smoke, and some staff seemed to be allowing drugs to be smoked on the premises. One member of staff even told some guests they could smoke on the tiny balcony on the first floor, from where smoke inevitably blows straight in to dorm rooms. Also, security was pretty poor during the day. The front gate always open, the front door generally open. More could be done
Fantastic place and fantastic staf in hostel. Hope ill get back one day :-)
Good hostel to stay for one night. Andre is a nice and helpfull guy.
I loved it! Very nice and chill place.
Very cool hostel. Lovely staff. And it has lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the sun.
The staff was super friendly and helpful and really made me feel welcome. The common area was great and the kitchen facility was very nice. The bathrooms were also nice and clean and I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my favorite hostel that I stayed at in Portugal!
It was a nice old styled hostel. great location being near the city and high up on a hill
Nice hostel with a wide setup dorm. It was really quiet so as for a solo traveller in low season not the best option. No breakfast (or late breakfast?) on weekends which was a pity, since I had counted on it before setting off again. But overall a nice hostel with clean facilities.
this is more like a house with big bedrooms upstairs. the guy working here was quite rude at times and some guy who lives here just takes over the common room all day everyday until he goes back to bed
An awesome hostel, in a great location with really good facilities. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Bizarre yet lovely staff! Cute hippy vibe with nice wall murals and a generous breakfast.
Charming little place, with very friendly staff. Double room was spacious and comfortable and quite cheap. Location is a bit of a walk from the train station, but otherwise fairly close to the sights. Not the best place to meet people, but was fine for us.
Not a bad hostel. Spacious private room - although a fair bit of a walk from the main sights and restaurants etc.
the place is generally nice. two remarks are in order: . sheets were quite dirty and full of someone else's hair . breakfast's stuff (butter, juices, milk etc.) is kept outside a fridge, during the night. the impact on this food's quality is quite bad
This hostel is okay. It is the most expensive hostel that we have stayed in in Portugal, we had to make our bed and have had much better hosting/customer service in cheaper hostels!
The hostel is really nice and the staff is great too. The bathrooms are great. The breakfast was great. The bedroom that I got was a little too cold during the night, but they give you comforters. The location is great and really close to the university and the city center, but you have to go up a really high rise and it's a little exhausting. Definitely would recommend it.
A very good hostel in beautiful Coimbra. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is situated in a beautiful old mansion with a nice view on the old town (depends on the room though). Very clean hostel, especially the kitchen. Breakfast was very good. Recommendation!
The hostel was good , staff were friendly. There are areas where you can just chill and relax. Wifi was okay but in areas of the dorm it was difficult to pick up
Excellent located hostel with great , peaceful atmosphere.
