we came there right after a reopening due to reinstallation of the whole place. cleanest hostel I've ever been to. friendly and very helpful staff.

A very nice hostel that reflects the youthful spirit of the city. The facilities are very good and new! A good option to stay in Coimbra!

Staff were fantastic!, really helpful and nice! Lots of stairs to get up to the hostel, difficult with luggage, but nice once you're there. Showers weren't the cleanest but that would be a reflection on other people staying there rather than the hostel staff.

Great hostel, central location, comfortable beds, and AMAZING staff! What more could you ask for? Fabiana and Luis were extremely helpful when it came to figuring out the logistics of buses, trains, pharmacies, and entertainment. I look forward to staying there in the future.

The hostel is located in a central location with lovely staff which provide answers to all my questions. The hostal does not have the most energetic atmosphere, But the kitchen facilities are excellent along with clean dorms and bathrooms. A good hostel.

noisy at nights (not from the street but from the other guests), bathroom facilities and cleanliness are average but not as clean as I would kepp my own bathroom for guests, I missed the lovely gestures that makes your stay nice. Overall rating: definitely average

Our stay in this hostel was really nice. The staff was really helpful and friendly, everything was clean and the hostel itself was only a few minutes walk away from the city center. Still it was possible to find free parking space for our car just from the next street, which was nice. The only real tiny little suggestion I myself, as a girl, would have is to add a mirror to the room. Even a little one would really help with the getting ready for the day or for the evening.

I really liked this hostel, although I only stayed one night. It was well decorated and charming, with a central location and very friendly staff! So helpful and chill. The free breakfast was nice as well. My only complaint is that they don't have any public computers, but the receptionist let me use her own at the front desk and helped me to dry my purse when my water bottle accidentally opened! :P

The interior is as cool as its location. Thanks to their kind concern to one of requests. I would recommend all to stay in this hostel.its an experience itself

I felt very warm with the welcome, the people in charge are very helpful, nice and kind. I really felt at ease, good atmosphere, I recommend it.

Hostel staff were very helpful and the rooms were excellent.

All the good reviews sounded very promising, but I can´t recommend the place. 1. It was noisy, and staff in their ultra liberal attitude seemed to be unable or unwilling to reduce the noise at night. Apparently noisy guests are considererd happy guests, but you are not so happy when you try to get some sleep. 2. "Breakfast" was a disaster. 3. The bathrooms were not really clean. Lots of mildew in the shower, simply disgusting...

For the cost of the hostel, I assumed the beds would be made. We arrived late, and it was difficult to make the beds without disturbing the other people in the room. Also, I have no problem with shared shower spaces, but there was no room to change clothes. Even the bathrooms had limited space for changing. Also, my shower ran out of hot water at 8 am in the morning.

Stayed one night with our little girl and really enjoyed it. The girl on reception was super helpful and let us change room to a better one or the little one. Spotlessly clean. Lots of nice touches showing that it's really well maintained and thought has gone into it. Great vibe with good tunes playing. Really liked the communal areas - very chilled out. Very quiet when we were there as a Sunday night. Lots of steps if you have quite a bit of gear!

This was a good hostel for the money. Security was good (locker was included in the room) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel was pretty quiet while we were there so we didn't meet anyone but we were there only one night in the off season. Everything was pretty clean. They could use better pillows. Breakfast was simple toast with jam, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. If I come back to Coimbra, I would stay here again.
