grandio is one of the best hostels we've ever stayed at. really cool atmosphere, cheap and the staff are absolutely mental/brilliant (jb especially)! already miss the grandio crew, definently returning asap! stay here guys!

This Hostel is a party place. The staff is nice, but I had a really bad experience with the people sharing the dorm. Getting in the room by 2 a.m, chatting - yelling (way too drunk), having no respect for people that were trying to sleep. Even if the staff are doing their best to keep the place clean it wasn't. I even choose to not shower over there. So I guess it depends what you're expecting from an Hostel, if you want to party at the hostel more then visiting the city go for it. not my case.

Hands down, the best hostel I have EVER STAYED IN! def. a great time with awesome people! you will make friends right away, and the staff are by far the coolest people I have ever met. I would not reccomend this place to someone who wants to sleep, or does not like to party. YOU are an idiot if you don't stay here. I had the most incredible weekend in Budapest.. and I would say that the hostel was a huge part of the reason why. Can't wait to go back ASAP!=)

Can't believe how fun this hostel is. The staff will tell you everything you need to know, and will always entertain you. They are super sweet, and will do anything for you--even if it's just helping you open a bottle of wine. Party all day and night for sure. You'll never be bored here! Also a great place to meet other travelers from all over the world. AMAZING! Grandio is what made my trip to Budapest great. Staying here is definitely what made my trip the time of my life!

Really fun please to be. I traveled alone and i met a lot of people here. The staff is very good and fun, the bar is very good and cheap, and the athmosphere is awsome

Grandio was AWESOME. The staff make the hostel really worth visiting; right when we got there they sat down with us, listened to why we were there and what we wanted to do, and then took the time to show us around the map, recommend some places to eat, all that kind of stuff. We were only there for a night, but they were consistently funny, informative, and just all around incredibly chill. I'd go back to Grandio just to hang out with them again!

There is no place like home--and this hostel, with their amazing staff, made it feel like home. Despite only staying one night, the staff went out of their way to get to know the small group I was in. They reviewed the map and invited us out to their evening plans--but didn't push us when we kindly told them that we were exhausted. The building has a charm that can't be described and make no doubts--you will make friends within this hostel. This is my favorite hostel I have ever stayed in.

Great place to stay in budget and best locale. The support staff is amazing Luke, JB and other Grandio guys are simply amazing.

Party every night there. It's so nice. Watch out lever, you're gonna get ur asses kicked!

The staff was unreal helped with whatever you needed remember all the guest almost by first name the place is a GEM although if your looking to relax it might not be the best place its a party hostel so if you dont know what that means maybe do some research if your looking to have something to do during the day and guaranteed late nights this the spot for you hit the boat cruise on the friday too is epic

More than guests, these people made us feel like part of a Family. A feeling impossible to beat. Looking forward for the next time we'll be there, and we will be there again for sure. Love from all the Portuguese Family and thank you so much Grandio.

Great hostel, lives up to the description. Obviously the main reason to stay here is to "party", which we did and enjoyed very much. The set up with the Garden/Bar area is great and the downstairs cave is cool too. Also the staff were excellent, even while being drunk gave us great advice about what to see and do around Budapest as well as answering all our questions with real enthusiasm and bending over backwards to help us out. Thank you SO much for making this an insane weekend for me! Not only were the nights out incredible but you made me feel welcome and showed me the best of the city! The way you got us all involved together as well as a hostel was done perfectly. My only regret is not staying longer, I'm coming back!!

Loved this place. If I come back to Budapest I am definitely staying here longer. Great people, fun parties, and the perfect atmosphere.
