Grannys Hostel

Grannys Hostel and Restaurant is the place where you want to be if you want to get to know other backpackers.

Our rooms include one big mixed dorm with eight beds, one mixed dorm with four beds and one double room with a queen bed. The double room and the room with four beds have air-conditioning. The eight mixed dorm, has fans.

Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included in our rates.

Here you can sit and relax in the front of the hostel, read a book or just look at people walk by. Or why not sit in the garden, share stories about your travels and just love life. Or are you the active kind of person that like to play with badminton or have space to play with a ball? We definitely have a big enough garden for that!!

Our bar is cool to sit in and have a nice talk to our English-, Indonesian-, German- and Norwegian-speaking staff. You can also just sit and chill and listen to great music.

We also have barbeque nights, cocktail parties, jam nights and movie nights.

We’re not in the centre of Kuta but we are around 20-30 minutes’ walk from the beach. We offer a shuttle service every day down to Kuta Beach at 11am and back at 5pm, for a small charge.

If you’re thinking about going around Bali, our staff will help you as best as they can to organise and recommend places to see and things to do. We have shuttle service up to Ubud every day, and if you’re staying in Ubud we can pick you up and bring you down to Grannys Hostel.

Do you want to go to the great Gili Islands? We will of course book you your ticket, and the next day you are off to the Gilis!
