I can only recommend this hostel. It`s close for Great Glen Way walkers, it`s clean and the staff was helpful and nice. They have a drying room which helped a lot since I arrived after a days walk though the rain. The whole hostel is very tidy and clean. You can buy soda, water, canned food and sweets at the reception. Awesome place to stay.

This is a very nice, well equipped hostel but all the public rooms and bedrooms were rather cold even though the radiators were on full (but only tepid to the touch) - and although it was winter it was not very cold outside. Kitchen facilities would be stretched to bursting if the hostel were full.

had a wonderful couple of days in the area with the glasgow walking club, was mostly out on the hills, the facilities are very good & would happily stay here again.

This place was awesome, clean, tidy, WARM! Stay here!!!! Good cheap washers/dryers and drying room. Cheap towels to hire to save brining one of getting yours wet when travelling on. Well stocked shop including microwave ready-meals, heaps to choose from even in middle of winter. Short walk on highway from GGW but could be a lot worse, didnt bother me anyway. Free wifi was awesome and computers for you to use as well. Would definately stay again.

Hostel is a little out if the way, about 10miles from the closest town, but it's peaceful and recently renovated.
