Great Hostel Backpackers Los Pinos Banos

We open ours doors to favor contact with nature for those who enjoy it, and social relationships among different countries, cultures and age groups, in a warm environment surrounded by the amazing quietness of the mountain, the falls and the natural thermal baths.Also you can enjoy Spanish lessons. Photography Workshop for beginners. Salsa lessons. And a lot of activities are waiting for you!!!

We are located in the tourist zone of Ba�os de Agua Santa, on the valley of Tungurahua Volcano ,just 3 blocs from down town Ba�os, and 6 blocks from the bus station.

What makes the hostel unique is that each room is hand-painted with a marvellous ceiling and wall mural by Michaela Steinhauser. There�s the room which has the deep, swirling Tsunami; another room which features the scorching desert of Dalil; a third room which offers a view of the mysterious and relaxing Calypso island; or the room that depicts the holy, powerful mountain of Olympus and its gods and goddesses. The other rooms offer a delightful portrayal of nature, such as the bright field of Girasoles, a wonderfully captured Sunset, the butterfly and geisha Papillon room, and the glowing Vanilla Sky.

Consists of four buildings.

One has the reception area with comfortable living room with a library, table games, a pool table in the center, TV and DVD , a kitchen for the use of everyone, tables w/ chairs, 2 computers with Internet Access (slow connection), WIFI within that area.
Two cabins hold 6 rooms on the ground floor for 3 people each (a bunk bed queen size at the bottom and single on the top), and 6 rooms for 4 people each (2 bunk beds).

Each of these wonderfully designed rooms comes with a large bed, with a window to perfectly show the amazing scenes outside. The beds come with new mattresses too. There�s also a desk and chair for more comfort, and a wardrobe cabinet for your clothes. The private bathroom is designed to complement the room�s mural.
