The staff there are amazing and very helpful!

was VERY AWESOME. It was like home full with friends rather than a hostel where you just check in and out. Staffs were especially amazing, so friendly and helpful. Even one of them could speak perfect British-accent English. Free laundry, free beverage coupon, free towels, free internet/facebook, and free INFORMATION! My friend I even joined a small trip with one of staffs and people staying there. Dumpling party was awesome. Perfectly sociable atmosphere. I will definately stay here again-

Easy access to bus station, train station, night market, and shopping. Nice location next to river. Dorm room was a bit small, stuffy,dusty. Washroom was basic, and ok, but needed a thorough scrubbing. Very friendly and fun staff. I really enjoyed chatting with them,and getting helpful advice. Small common room/restaurant area for the number of guests, but good atmosphere. Strong wifi and games,movies,, etc available for use.

Great view from rooms with windows, and the rooms are nice too. Central location made walking everywhere convenient. Very close to bus station. Very helpful and friendly staff. Buzzing and fun common room. Yummy food too!

Fantastic place! The staff there are amazingly helpful. One of the staff, Wei, even helped us choose all of the trains for our month in China. The room was huge, quiet, and had the most comfortable bed we've had in over 3 months of hostels. We will certainly be back!

I found the bathroom in the 6-person dorm quite tiny (just to give an idea...it has about enough room for three toilet bowls), with scarcely enough room to shower. Fortunately I was the only person in the room at that time.

I was in a double room and it was exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed y stay an without a doubt would recommend it.

on my way to laos via kunming, or vietnam via nanning, or close-by yangshoa, i always stop over at the green forest for the 4 Ls - location, lounge, laughter and luggage (storage). very central location-wise, it beats its closest competitor hands down; the latter's location is a bit out of the way, especially for lady travelers walking back at night. the lounge at green forest is often filled with laughter, especially when the occasional lucky westerner beats one of the hostel's girls at mahjong

Super friendly and helpful staff, very good food and a cozy common area.... Excellent location as it is 5 minutes walking from Guilin´s central train and bus station. We highly recommend this hostel.

Decent hostel, staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was some renovation work going on during our stay which was a bit annoying, but understandable. Organised great cheap tours to the rice terraces. Defs recommend this place !

Very good value for money. Double rooms for less than 100rmb ( Off-peak season), very clean, nice staff and good food.

I loved this hostel! It was very clean, has a great little cafe w/ food option. Open, bright common area. Very well located to the train and bus station and tours conveniently pick you up. Staff were Amazing. They were above and beyond to help me with my additional needs. (More specifically, locating a place to take Visa photos for Vietnam Visa application, and also with taking care of sending out a package for me the day after I had left.) The place was extremely welcoming and comfortable.
