Great location very close to The train station and a 30 minute walk down to the Old Town. Very clean, nice kitchen, hot water, everything you need. Very hospitable, thanks Marius. Now if they could just update their address on the Hostelworld site all would be good. At the moment if you go to the listed address you then have to walk back towards the station to the new place which is still being set up.

10 minutes walk from train station. 20 minute walk to city centre and old town. Lovely hosts that go out of their way to help you get the most out of your time in Bucharest. No aircon or fans in the rooms, and only 2 showers in the whole building. Lockers in the rooms. There was no breakfast, and tea/coffee was available however milk was not always there. Cleanliness in the kitchen was disappointing. Cake shop next door is worth a visit! Make sure you double check the address, they have moved!!

The hostel was a newly opened addition to the original Green Frog hostel, so it was not set up completely. The location is great, really close to the Gara Nord, a large market, and a park. The beds were comfortable, the staff helpful and relaxed, and the kitchen well stocked.

The hostel is being moved to a different location and most of the reviews are based on the old one, I suppose. I wasn't informed so I had to make a bit of a detour but the new one's not that far from anything, either. Quite close to a big street though so bring earplugs. The facilities are still a work in progress, there were some lockers but not enough. Breakfast was good and the staff wonderful and helpful so in total it was still a good experience

I guess green frog is under renovation so when we arrived we were moved to a different hostel which was confusing at first but ended up working out for the best. Mauris is an amazing hostel manager and over-the top helpful, even taking the time to write out a full menu for things we need to eat while here. Eztremely home-ish feel Id go back to romania just to chill at the relaxing hostel. Big spacious rooms w beautiful furnaces and high ceilings made it feel like a hotel.

Green Frog is a truly amazing place to stay! It's unlike other hostels in that it's more like staying with a family than it is with other travelers. Marius and Roxanna were both extremely helpful in telling me what the best sights are, where the best restaurants are, and what else to do in Romania. The hostel itself is in a beautiful neo-classical building. Everything is clean, the kitchen and bathrooms are great, and the location is within walking distance of everything.

Nice place. Very central. Staff was amazingly friendly. A hostel where you can meet people from all around. Pretty much clean and very cheap. But pay attention! They moved the address and it's not informed here yet. We went to the wrong one.

The staff here were amazing. amazing visited while the hostels switching buildings and the new building is beautiful. While it lacks a proper lounge (this may change?) But the kitchen and showers are excellent. It is very cheap and for the price the facilities, staff and cleanliness cannot be beat.

Green Frog was being renovated when I visited but will be a fantastic hostel when completed. Great location if you're visiting the opera and literally two minutes from Sala Radio (art deco concert hall with a nightly program). I was offered a very good deal because it was being renovated and if the prices remain anything like what I paid it will be a great deal.

We where relocated in their new place and it was such a mess. It seemed like it wasn´t prepared at all for guests. But the worst part was the staff. They were all night laughing and drinking beers while they were watching football or whatever, so we couldn´t sleep properly. And the next morning that we had to leave at 10.00 am (and we had to pay them) there was nobody at the hostel and we had to look for them all around until we found them sleeping upstairs. So we almost left without paying.

Really great location and the staff is really nice. Though my friend and i waited for check-in for a long time, they offered us a discount. I think it is quite accpetable...overall, it is a nice hostel.

The first thing that I judge a hostel by is how I am received; prior to my stay, the reception is welcoming and assuring of any concerns I have. When I do arrive, I am greeted by the host with welcome arms and immediately treated like family or a close friend. And throughout my stay, I feel like I am AT home, rather than away in a foreign land. This all makes a huge difference in my traveling experience. This is why I love Green Frog. This is what sets it apart from the rest. Fiare vecchi luam!

This is by far one of the best hostels that I've ever stayed at. It has a really great environment that makes you feel at home. Roxana (the lady that owns the hostel) also contributes to this. She is very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Throughout my stay at the hostel, they did nothing but try and help me and make things a heck of a lot easier than they normally would be. The shower is amazing and overall the bathroom is very clean. The hostel is in a great location, as well.
