It's located next to the metro. Very good. The stuff was very nice. Breakfast was realy good. We slept in a dorm of 6 next to the street and it was very very noisy from out side! But it's still recommended.

The hostel was clean and the stuff helpfull but the atmosphere was missing!!! I would not recommend this hostel to people who want to meet other travellers because there were not nice common areas at all and the bar was tiny, no bartender at all, no music or no people. The location was not the best because there was nothing going on in that area. Luckily it was a cheap place to stay wich was only positive thing to say about this hostel.

Green Grass has a very good cost x benefit, closer to subway and with a very good breakfast. The staff was commited to solve my requests and provided all the support to make me satisfied.

Really nice hostel, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice communal area with tv an computer, although can get a bit cosy if there a few people around! Would have been nice to have some fruit or maybe some cheese at breakfast - mostly sweet things and biscuits. Great hostel though, would stay here again.

really nice new hostel, pretty handy location being only a tiny walk to a metro stop. the staff are the best, really friendly and helpful, the owner actually still works in the hostel so he makes sure things are good and takes an actual interest in the place, really good guy too. would recommend this place for sure.

This cute little hostel was a pretty good find! It's near the metro station, the staff are so nice and willing to help you out! They told us about a street party which was amazing and practise for carnival! It is in a nice area and is a nice hostel.

Green Grass was the first stop on my travel. After one day i extended my stay by a week. This place is awesome, and the staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. They have so much knowledge on what to do in the city and they hooked me up with a gym where i train BJJ.

Great hostel with really friendly helpful staff. great breakfast, good clean bathrooms, all very new facilities. very easy to meet people, close to metro and supermarket. Defo one of the best hostels we have stayed in for south america. onlu sometimes if the hostel is full the common areas can be a little small. great place .. would recommend for sure

A really nice place! Though the hostel isn't located in the very heart of the city it's easy to get into town by metro from there. Supermarket and a cheap restaurant next door. Great breakfast, including everything you're looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want, Gabriel the owner will even take you to some football matches (only Sao Paulo F.C.). The common area makes it very easy to meet other travellers. I really enjoyed my time there and would totally recommend it.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Green Grass hostel in the private room upstairs and we felt it was a good value for São Paulo. My only complaint is that the Internet stopped working for about a day. I definitely recommend the hostel though.

If you don´t smoke never ask for a 8 beds mixed dorm. The smokers' area is just in front of them and some do not have windows ! The bathrooms are good but they have a minuscule trash basket, so it always overflows. It is easy and cheap to purchase a bigger basket to solve this problem. The staff really are keen to help but they need to pay atention on details.

Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. For instance we were not happy with the female 6 bed dorm (it's tiny!) so they quite happily moved us. Great location just round the corner to the metro, banks and supermarkets are close. The hostel was very clean and a good use of space, would definitely recommend it! Gabrielle- the friendliest owner yet!

The location very close to the metro is really good. The staff is really helpful (thank you for all your good advice). Nothing wrong to say about the hostel. Really easy to find something to eat in the metro area too and a supermarket just around the corner. You can go ther without hesitation!
