Green house hostel is about 7km out of the dead center of town, closer towards most of the attractions. Which is good as there isn't a lot to do in town anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenhouse. It has a super chilled our vibe and a really big common area downstairs with couches and music playing. People were just happy to hang out and chat. The kitchen is about the biggest I have ever seen at a hostel. The staff are really, helpful and speak excellent English they supplied us with
Like the Alaska Hostel, this is a great ski hostel with an owner, Brian, who will go out of his way to make your stay as worry-free and enjoyable as possible. They cook great family-style meals, have plenty of bathroom space, will lend you a bus card if you need it, keep the place impeccably clean, safe, laid-back and sociable. If you're going to Bariloche to ski, no need to stay in town--this is the hostel for you.
Wow!!! What a place to stay. These guys could not be more accommodating if they tried. Nothing was too much trouble. They'll cook you the most amazing dinners every night for way cheaper and better than you would get in a restaurant. Thanks so much for an amazing stay. We will be back!!!!!
Brian and chino are the nicest people ever. They are very helpful, hardworking, and provide an all-around great atmosphere at the hostel. It is located right across the street from beautiful lake Nahuel Huapi and a short walk from a grocery store. Best hostel I have ever stayed in and Bariloche is an unforgettable place.

The hostel was great, I stayed there with 3 friends and we were afraid of the good price the hostel offered, we thought it could be a bad hostel. Wrong!! IT was a great place to stay at! I totally recommend it. Brian was very kind with us and he sells very good pizzas. The only thing I would change is the schedule to use the kitchen but it is ok anyway. You can use it until 11pm.
Pretty far our of the city center - 10 minutes by bus. Other than that, it was a pretty cool place to stay. The staff made the place great though. They were really friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a ride to the bus terminal and let us borrow their adaptor. Would recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a place to mingle with other travelers.
