Green Hut Lodge is just few minutes walk from the KTM monrail and shopping complex likes Sungai Wang and Bukit Bintang as well as The Lowyat IT Complex. well. It's also very near to the restaurant (Pub, India food, Chinese food etc.) and money hawker stalls which sell lots of local food. There is easy to find some 24 store for buying living stuff.

Hostel is well and near the restaurant (Pub, India food, Chinese food etc.). The mono train just walk around 5 minutes, and the stop of city hoop has just beside this Hostel. This is easy to find some 24 store for buying living stuff. There is a best place in K.L. more than Hotel.

Hi, I stayed there for four nights. They had been doing a lot of work there, new beds, furniture, painting, new computers etc but it wasn't quite finished (end of Feb 2012), but it was nearly there. The city centre location is 5 minutes walk from Bukit Bintang mono rail station, and a short walk to pubs/bars, restaurants, shops, malls etc and 10 mins walk to KL Tower, 20 mins to Petronas Towers.

The hotel is in a excellent location which is just near the Jalan Alor. The night fair in Jalan Alor is very famous and they offer food for 24 hours. So that it is a little bit noisy in the night if your room is just near the road. But the stuffs are very hospitality and will help you with any problems. The money exchange shops is just a block away and you can get a nice price there. Rooms are kind of small and they are refurbishment these days.

For the price, this is a decent place to stay as it is in a very central location. The beds had bugs, but I guess that's a problem for most of SE Asian hostels. Also they were painting the entire first floor and the area was poorly ventilated so the smell was quite toxic for a few of the nights I stayed there. Small tv, but free wi fi. Excellent air-con and fans in rooms.

The toilets weren't working and they advertised internet which was also not working. They are completing renovations but the lack of facilities was gross.

The hostel is old and shabby. I guess all the good comments came from the old time. Green Hut is just OK for having cheap accommodation in strategic area. Otherwise, nothing can be hoped. The shower and toilet are clean only for 5 minutes, most of the day they are dirty. The building is old. Whenever somebody's walking on the hall, the floor is trembling. The noise is easily pass through the wall. The bunk bed is screeching noisily. I don't think the bed sheet and blanket are clean either:(

The place is value for money. With all basic facilities, I was really satisfied with the staff and services for my 2 night stay.
