We are a small laid back place to stay where you'll some meet great people and get some sleep!

I'd say the most unique feature of our hostel is the rooftop garden. It's big, it's lush, and it's a great place to hang out, especially in the evenings when it's cooler. We can't help that it's hot in Singapore during the day, but you can sunbathe if you like.

Also, our breakfast puts us ahead of the rest. Rather than just putting a bunch of bread and jam on a table, our staff prepare each guest's breakfast individually. It's simple toast and fruit, but the fruit is a mix of the familiar (eg oranges) and the exotic (eg dragonfruit). Our coffee is proper gourmet from a proper café-grade Italian espresso machine. And our breakfast is Kosher, Halal and vegetarian.
Singapore is quite a small island, with excellent public transport, and nothing is very far. We're in the city area, easily accessible from all the main tourist areas. We have the famous Lavender Street hawker centre just across the road, with heaps of cheap local food. I'd recommend two must-see free things: the URA's Singapore city gallery (three floors of scale models of the city) by day, and the four sections of Singapore River (Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay) by night.- Kevin, Owner

I really loved this hostel, especially the staff who were so helpful and friendly and always seemed to remember everybody's name. The breakfast was great too even if I did get up a little late due to a big night out. The location is good too as you have access to two MRT stations to get anywhere quickly and it's cheap. Alternatively you can take a stroll down through Little India and down into the city centre on foot. Also the food court across the road has delicious local/Asian food for $3-$5.

Latest Review
The only comment i would like to make is that there is allot of publicity for alcohol drinking. A particular publicity was saying: at the end we have 30 "crowlers" or more (crowling because you drink allot). showing a man walking and ending lying in the floor. This advertisement was in the hall, bathroom, living room, etc. Knowing the consecuences of hazardous drinking from research, i think is not good to have the atmosphere inviting to much the backpackers to join for this. The rest was good.
