the hotel is very far from windows of the world, luo hu (train station), dong men( shopping centre). The hotel area is in bao an area (near with guang shen highway), it was shenzhen border. But, if you want to direct to guang zhou, the bus station only 3 minutes walk from this hotel.

It's a hotel, not a hostel, but from all my stays in various hostels and hotels during my 3 month china trip, this has probably the best value for money. We paid 140 for a double room, and it was modern, spacious, clean, comfortable, absolutely perfect. Good wifi in the room. It's far away from the city center, but Bao'an is like a city of its own. It has a lot of flair, markets everywhere, small roads with nice small restaurants. Great location if you love randomly walking around and explore.

It is VERY far from the city center. It took at least 45 minutes on the subway to get close so it would be very expensive via cab/taxi. They tried to help but had very very little information on the city itself or how to find the sites and it was different to communicate with them.

If you don't plan to be in the hotel 24/7 and you don't mind getting to the city centre by bus or metro, you will find this place great. Clean, cheap, with friendly staff, if a but dull. Definitely recommended

The KTV downstairs is EXTREMELY loud. I was on the third floor and could hear every word being sung below. Not what I was looking for after spending a long day walking around and hoping to relax when I got back. Also, the place is nigh impossible to find if you don't speak Chinese. The place is not advertised with its English name, just the acronym GOH and the Chinese title. That itself wouldn't be so bad except for the website doesn't provide the Chinese name and gives pretty weak directions.

Right next to our room was a Karaoke bar that really bothered our sleep. Moreover the hotel is located right next to the public bus staion so that we couldn't open the windows because of the smog. Furthermore at night time there were some drunken guys from der Bar that knocked at our door and shouted quite agressive, so that we couldn't feel really save.

I stayed here for one night, because I had to catch an early flight from Shenzhen Airport. For that occasion, it was perfectly located in a nice district. It was easy to find some dinner and a supermarket nearby. Staff doesn\'t really speak English, but hey try their best to learn (I also speak a little Chinese). Room was very pretty, though I didn\'t like that it smelled a bit like smoke and the bar including karaoke was on my floor. Altogether it was a nice stay, even if it was a little short.
