The description of the room was incorrect. It said 'twin private ensuite' but the room did not have a private bathroom. All of the rooms at the hostel share just one small bathroom. Otherwise the place is fine and a decent value.

Very nice family with a beautiful cat ; nice living district where you can buy good Georgian products (fruits, vegetables, cheese...) ; be careful if you have a lot of luggage, you have to climb twice long and tiny charming stairs ; the water in the shower was not hot but it was bearable ; great internet connexion ; space for making tea and coffee, there is a micro-wave and some dishes.

Excellent for the price, staff was very helpful. Just remember that it's home stay, not a hotel.

Green Stairs is a great place to stay in Tbilisi. Situated in an nice, lively neighbourhood and close to a metro station, it is a friendly, good value-for-money hostel. The owner is friendly, helpful and speaks good English. Will definitely be back.

Green stairs is a basic hostel, great value for money, in a nice quiet part of tbilisi close to marjanishvili metro. The owner Vazha is super helpful and nice, and came to pick us up from the airport.

The hostel location is great. Just a few minutes walk from the center (metro station, banks, exchange, local restaurants and street food...) Vazha (the owner) is very helpful and kind, willing to aid in every question and request. we even got to leave our backpacks for a few days without any charge... The only thing I would like to add a disadvantage is the hygiene of the shower & toilet which wasn't so good...

Nice owner oh hostel. Quite good location, not far from center. Rooms simple. Minus- it is very hot there, if its hot outside, roof warms everything up. Not much neighbors - only 4 rooms, so quite quiet, shower room could be more clean. Kitchen has no place to cook, only microwave.

Very nice hostel, the owner is helpful and we can book airport transfer from him. There is a courtyard so the place is quiet. Only trouble is that the shower is a little meanly furnished. But we would like to stay there again next time :)

the Guest House is in a very convenient location. it's very simple, but clean enough, there are you can find all necessary. Vaja and his family are very kind people. We provide a map and gave good advice on the attractions and restaurants of the city.

This is the best hostel for the price in Tbilisi. And the owner is super helpful and nice. If honestly there was some drawbacks - fridge was broken, kitchen has only microwave and teapot, walls seems to be made out of paper, because if someone is walking in next door, you have a feeling that someone is inside your room, but for Tbilisi these are just unimportant scraps. In this hostel there are only four twin private rooms and couples doesn’t make a lot of noise.

We stayed for two days in Green Stairs hostel. It is a family owned hostel and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. We liked the atmosphere there although everything is very simply made, so don't expect any luxury: There is one toilet/bathroom combination for all guests and it's not new at all, also you can hear your neighbours quiet well, but come on: I think it is the cheapest hostel in Tbilisi and you can't expect more for the price. Alltogether we were happy with our stay there.

We were told on arrival that we were not allowed to drink and that we had to be quiet. The shower that I took was also unbearably cold and the bathroom was disgusting. However, it is the cheapest hostel I have ever seen. You get what you pay for, but be warned, you might want to pay a little more to avoid this place

For the price, this place is the best in Tibilisi, plus the location is very convenient. The owner, Vazha, is extremely helpful and speaks very good English.

We felt the hostel lacked a little bit of cleanliness at times. The shower is not very nice. Our room was used by smoking guests before us and it smelled terrible, but this is not the hostel's fault. They moved us to another room as soon as they had one available. Overall, our stay was a good experience.

Our stay at Green Stairs was absolutely amazing! The location is great - right by the lovely Marjanishvili Street and only one metro stop away from Rustaveli Prospect, the center of town. The rooms are great for 2 people, and best of all, the owner, Vazha, is wonderful beyond belief. He helped us so many times with tips of what to see in the area and how to get around. And, since my wife and I are planning on staying in Tbilisi long term, he even helped us find an apartment here in the city!
