I decided on Green Studio as the first hostel which I stayed in in Belgrade was a bit quiet for me. Green Studio did not disappoint. The staff are truly the most friendly people you have ever met; it is clear that they absolutely love their jobs. If you want a quiet place, this is not for you. The music starts at 10am and continues until 1am, at this point everybody goes out. The fridge is always stocked with a decent choice of beers and other drinks and all are excellent prices.

Nice hostel, great and helpfull staff

its well located next to the bus and trainstation. the stuff is really helpful giving you tips for belgrade. very familiar athmosphere, there is a cooking at green hostel lounge nearly every day and its easy to meet other travellers

great hostel at great location with very nice lounge bar :)

Booked in advance but when arriving at the Green Studio was told it was full and was directed to the Green Lounge. Here the room was above a bar and also had the toilets for the bar, so until 2am the room the bed was in had a queue of people waiting to go to the toilet. Impossible therefore to sleep before then.

The location was perfect for bus/train travellers. The staff was really helpful and kind, and the cheap beer was awesome for an evening starter. But...But...but the condition of the bathroom was extremly poor. The 8 room dorm had no window at all and yeah, for the little money we didn't excpect too much but as i heard there are way better options for the same amount of money in town.

Great staff, good location.

It is very close to the train station and the city center. We`ve booked 2 beds in a room for 4 persons and fortunately got the room for ourselves, but there were no lockers in the room, as well as no room keys, and the lockers at the reception didn`t have keys so we needed to spend all day long carrying our backpacks and that was annoying. The room was ok, bed linen and towels included, clean, and the bathroom was good too.

Great little place. Seems like an enlarged studio apartment. Easy to meet everyone (and go next door to the bar/lounge forndrinks!). Staff were friendly and welcoming, thanks again for the coffee from a tired traveler. Can't be located any closer to the buses and trains. I never seem to have the time to spend a while in Belgrade, but when I finally do, I'll be back here.

We were 4 but booked a private room for 7. Even though it was cheap: 7 euros p/night p/person. The beds were not comfortable (too used), but we could sleep well. It seemed not that clean (my friend found a scratched paper under her pillow). We had problems with hot water both days (those first having shower could get hot water but not the next ones). The kitchen was nice! The Internet doesnt work inside rooms and is INCREDIBLY slow in commom areas. Nice thing they wash your clothes for free. :D

The staff was very helpful and nice, excluding one guy on one of the shifts (mustache, long hair). He really insisted on us going on a walking tour and we decided not to take it. I think he did not like it, and his attitude became very rude. He even didn´t want to open the door for us or allow us inside the common areas when we left our luggage while we waited for our train to leave. The other two staff members we met were the opposite, really nice, relaxed, helpful people.

These guys have two hostels a party hostel and a quieter hostel. The party hostel is a dump but the quieter one is quite nice.

Came for a weekend with a couple of friends and had an amazing time at the hostel. The staff was great, full of little tips how to get around, free rakija as welcome drink, chatty but not intrusive. Everything that was offered they had. The only thing I found surprising was not being able to lock the door of the bedroom, therefore no keys, even though it was a room for 4. However there are big lockers where all the things fit. All in all, excellent hostel.

Nice place with good location for catching the train.

the best staff ever, sladja you are the greatest :D

Had the best time at green studio hostel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and fun especially Ivana! The place to stay in Belgrade

Small but cute hostel, dodgiest lift in the planet, but all adds to the charm. great staff, and good place to chill and meet people. plus if you want to party there is the bar/basement just down the road. Beds in the private room (once off treat) were falling apart- the slats were constantly falling off, but huge room and great view of the park. Close to everything. All in all would stay again :)

Everything was quite good but the hostel is a little bit far from the city center and wifi is not working most of the time.

Hostel is just outside the bus station and not far from most of Belgrade's sights. Well-equipped kitchen, common room plus a lounge in another building (to ensure quiet nights); one more bathroom would be good though. Recommended!

Good and Cheap Hostel, but toilet are very sad
