Good cheap hostel. Clean and friendly. Linen, kitchen, microwave, hot water - everything is good. Beds are "far not ortopedic". Under roof rooms - it can get hot at night in spite of air condition. Mosquitoes (if you open windows) - ask staff about. But for that money we forgive even 6-th floor without elevator :) Good for big groups up to 14.

It's located at the last floor of the building (6th) and the elevator is not working. But a little workout is good for you!

Bathrooms were dirty, people were sleeping in the common area, and we almost missed our bus because we weren't allowed to check out until we collected our luggage, and the person who was working the desk didn't know how to use the system. Wouldn't stay here again.

The hostel is really good - it is truly worth its place in Best Balkan hostels list. One humble advice - we lived in private Orange, and the room would be much cosier if there were a book shelf. Those who are staying in hostel haven't got opportunity (as we understood) to use the lift, but this is really good because of so many excellent bakeries around.

You are never sure who is working there and where to find them. Just to get some additional info sometimes.

A basic hostel in an apartment in a large block of flats. Location is quite good (near the train and bus station and city centre isn't far either). There's WiFi, a kitchen and a lounge corner. Staff is helpful and happy to help with any issues or worries. But I would recommend renewing the beds (the springs in mattresses are quite hard and not very comfortable). Yet overall good value for money in Belgrade and the owners also run a bar nearby with special offers for hostel guests.

Green Studio proved to be an excellent choice: located within a walking distance from the train station with a number of great street food joints around, it's a cosy and vibrant hostel run by people who really love their job. There is a "happy hour" program after 17:00 when guests and locals get together for a few drinks. Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to discover all the fun Belgrade has to offer.

It was my second time at Green Studio and I couldnt be happier, they offer great facilities such as laundry, free coffee andrakija as well as a welcome beer. Although it was a little bit quiet as it was off season the staff did their best to entertain everyone and the have a great bar, but i know from my 1st experience that it is a party hostel. If in belgrade do yourself a favour and go to Green studio :)

booked the new party hostel for our stay in serbia... upon arrival we were told it wasnt open due to the time of year... Why advertise it and let us book it ? we were advised at 7.30pm by a lady working at thier "party hostel bar" underneath the party hostel that becuase the main hostel is in a private residential building ... we had to keep our noise down from 8pm ... but were welcome to be taken to thier location to continue drinking ... not what we booked... unenjoyable experience

Owner Comment (Show)
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion. Our new hostel lounge and dorm was open however since it is new we were doing some work on the dorm room that day to improve it. We still honored your booking that was a special at a price of 3 euros per night per person at a better dorm room with less beds. Our party lounge was still open all night for you then and we were waiting for you, however you never left your room. We can't have people drinking in the actual dorm rooms all night as there are other people sleeping there with you. You never came to our lounge for the welcome beer, the free rakija, and the pub crawl and you refused to leave your room area for the night both nights and we can't have people drinking at the dorm rooms all night, other people need to sleep, which is why our lounge exists and we asked you to not drink in the rooms after 20h but to take yours and head to our lounge. I don't understand why you never came to the drinking and party area and left us such a bad review for such a low price as well when you never tried to see more then the room. Anyone booking/looking please understand we never ever refuse service for our rakija and welcome beer at our lounge, and we are always open there hanging out - you just have to leave your room to see it.

Staff and guest make my trip valuable. Both were great at green studio! Facilities not the best, improve the beds and bathroom and you have a great spot The new bar down the street will provide a great party spot for summer months.

The staff are really fun and there's a bar in this hostel so it's a nice place to go if you're by yourself/new in town!

This place was dirty. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom and dust bunnies ne'er my bed as well as someone's socks that were left behind. The staff was helpful and exceptionally friendly. There used to be a lift available to hostel customers but that is no longer available so one gets to climb up 5 to 6 flights of stairs depending on how you count them with your luggage. There were few restaurants nearby but I wanted to be near the train station because I had an early train.

You were unfortunate to be staying (you stayed for one day) in the same time as one very untidy guest, and those was his socks :) as we found out next day when we were cleaning the room again (we clean the dorms every day). We do have a sign on the door asking everybody to be respectful of other guests and to keep their stuff nice and tidy, but unfortunately sometimes guest can be too relaxed...About the mold (wet part of the wall), we already explained in other reply that that issue is taken care of, and it happened because of big snow in Belgrade just staying and melting on the roof. Thanks for the review :)
