I had stayed there before, and it was even better than I remembered. I arrived in time for the free dinner which was an added bonus. It was clean, everyone was friendly. They managed to change my booking to a smaller female only dorm which was great. Can highly recommend- its in a great location.

Great hostel, the staff really make the place what it is! Good range of organised events such as tours and pub crawls plus free breakfast and dinners! Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Seattle.

My first hostel experience at 50 years of age and traveling with my 19yr old daughter. Great all around experience. I would recommend this hostel. Super staff, solid beds, fan/light/curtains/power for each bad space, storage lockers, quality linens, nice bathrooms, great kitchen & breakfast. Amazing location next to Public Farmers Market. We tried a different hostel in downtown area for second night and Green Tortoise is where we would return on next visit to SEA.

Great bathrooms!! Staff was very friendly. Sheets were very comfortable and the beds had their own outlets, bed lights and curtains, very cozy. We have free dinner and free breakfast. Location was fantastic for the Pike Market.

I had a great time here! Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the location was amazing. The free breakfasts and dinners and the pub crawls were awesome as well and really made travelling on a budget easier. My only minor issue was that the internet didn't work in the rooms. Overall, great fun!

This was quite an impressive place. Pancake mix, eggs, fruits, bread, juice, and coffee were provided in the mornings for you to make your own breakfast. The staff was great and really helped encourage and create fun activities among guests. Lots of good dinner was provided for free three times a week. The beds were pretty cool as they each had their own individual curtains around them, lamps, electric outlets, and lockers. Lots of individual bathrooms and showers were available.

Love the size of the lockers under the bed and the bathrooms are great! Appreciated the people at the front desk too. Only downsides were how long it took to check in and having to wait for the bathroom, but these seemed for the most part out of the hostels control. Thanks for the great stay!

That was my first time in a hostel, and I have to say I was a little bit afraid of it! But it was just perfect! The place is really clean, and the location is the best you could have in Seattle.

Fantastic hostel. located only half a dozen blocks from the greyhound and a short want to the light rail to the airport. Right in the middle of downtown near the pike street markets. great atmosphere and staff as well as tons of stuff offered to get to see the city. They also offered free breakfast which i spelt though so i cant comment but the free dinner 3 times a week is great. wifi works only in the commonroom. bathrooms and kitchen are very well maintained. highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay. There was a mix up with my bed the first night being double booked, so when I got back late in the night there was someone asleep in my bed. The staff was cool about it and straighten things out within a few minutes.

My experience at this hostel was ABSOLUTLEY unforgettable. The staff were the most hospitable staff members I have come across, the positive energy and vibe of the hostel as a whole made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt at home from the minute I arrived to the minute I left...and wished I was staying longer. A big thank you to everyone who works there. You gained a loyal customer and friend!

My first stay in a hostel, so nothing to compare this to. I definitely did enjoy Green Tortoise Seattle. A super convenient location, literally right across from Pike Place Market, and not too far from some fun and gorgeous areas in Seattle. The staff was super helpful, especially at 2AM when I locked my keys in my locker!

The hostel was in the perfect location in Seattle and even though there were few hostels to choose from, they really went above and beyond to make the hostel accommodating. The atmosphere was very diverse, with a range of people of all ages and nationalities. The staff was so helpful in planning trips or going on the Seattle Free Walking Tours (AWESOME, definitely do them). You learn so much not only about the city, but I feel like the vibe at the hostel matched the character of the city.

Great location, in front of Pike Place Market. The bunk beds have a lamp, a fan and two additional outlets to charge phone, cameras, ipads, etc.). They also had privacy curtains which give little privacy! On Tuesday night there was free dinner (a delicious pasta!). The wifi was good and the staff are very helpful. I really recommend.
