Amazing Stay, huge house w/ heaps of bedrooms & bathrooms, a well equiped kitchen, loads of resting areas on the top balcony w/ hamics or the front verandas hamic chairs or by the pool, outdoor BBQ area and absolutely amazing owners. They truly and obviously love what they do & it shows, if you stay here be prepared to be greated w/ huge smiles, & bubbly staff. The place is clean, well kept, it's close to the beach & they even have bikes for hire. The best hostel we stayed at in Brazil

Great hostel, I had a very good time. It really feels like a family, like a home. It has actually everything you need. On the Saturday, Marcel and Marcus made a very nice BBQ for us. Some people stay there also for a longer time and that says enough for me. Ana is also very helpful, she tries to help with everything.

Owners are great couple, they made us feeling at home. Lot of space in and around the house. Lot of bathrooms, big and clean. Nice livingroom with huge couch to lay on and see one of the good movies they have on big screen tv. Good breakfast, nice pool they clean everyday. Nice bar outside with good caipirinhas. If you want to have a good party go to Warung beach Club in Itajai. We enjoyed a lot!

Had a brilliant time and the owners were so helpful and friendly, kind to lend us bikes and help us with our millions of questions. Have been suggesting the hostel to many travellers. Was a lovely few days and made it feel more like staying with friends and family than a hostel.

Very nice hostel, one of the best I stayed in Brasil so far. The owners are very kind and helpful, the atmosphere is totally relaxed. If you need any help or additional information just ask for it... besides the location, 20 minutes from the beaches of campeche, it´s almost perfect...

The staff was incredibly friendly and helping, the atmosphere really open-minded and laid-back and the beaches (15-20 Minutes by foot) were absolutely amazing. If you don`t have an urge to see the center of the city(which isn`t that hard, however) GreenHouse Hostel is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the beaches.

We left after the first night even though we paid for two nights. The shared bathroom was very dirty with sand all over the place and a disgusting toilet. When we told the manager that we don't want to stay for another night she immediately pointed her finger to the "No refunds" sign. She didn't even bother to ask why we were leaving earlier. In my opinion it's extremely poor value for money (at least the double room).

Best staff ever - very helpful, always available and very friendly. Also location is good (close to great beaches). Only downside are the minimalistic facilities.

It´s a perfect hostel really - helpful staff, a pool, pool table, bar with happy hour, nice breakfast, hammocks and a really nice vibe. We thought it was a bit closer to the beach though, it´s a fair walk to the nearest one. It´s pretty well connected to everything by bus though, so you can get to Lagoa/beaches quite easlily - bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away

I really enjoyed camping in the gardens of the GreenHostel. Super great staff, and highly recommend the Caipirinha's! Location is in the suburbs, and about 1.5km to the beach which I liked, but if you want to get out on the town at night it is a bit of a mission...

There is a very good vib in this hostel and the owner are amazingly nice and helpfull! I strongly recommend the asado prepared by them, which is delicious and in a huge quantity! There is just one negative point which is not so negative actually for the price.. it is a bit far for going out by night since there are no night buses and it is far from the clubs and the bars.. But the party can be done in the hostels so..

Nice house and garden, good and new facilities, staff are awesome, very knowledgeable and work really hard to help with everything and make you feel at home, it's almost like a family. The 14 bed dorm, where I stayed, is pretty jammed, but I guess that is what you have to expect from a 14 bed dorm... Location is OK, easy to get everywhere by bus as it is so central on the island, but during the night there are no buses. I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

I have stayed at many hostels and I have to say that Green House is probably my favorite. The staff are so nice, they really made me feel at home. I love how social and open the atmosphere is too. Really a great place to meet people and have fun. Still a very new place and putting things together a bit still (internet), but once everything comes together it will be one of the best places around. Clean, safe, friendly, fun.

The best thing about the place is the staff, they are very kind and helpfull people. The facilities are very good too, and the atmosphere is great, but the place is far from the center of Florianópolis, in an area surrounded by the green. Recommended to those who seek rest and fresh air. If you haven't rented a car, and you are going for the summer (when the traffic gets unusually bad), consider going somewhere more to the north of the island.
