Property Information:
We at Guesthouse Grettir offer five rooms of different sizes, two with a matrimonial bed and three with seperate beds. All rooms offer a sink, wireless internet connection and access to a kitchen
There is one shared bathroom in the house. It is located on the first floor
It is our goal to make you feel at home. Guests enjoy access to a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook and store your food. In the surrounding streets you can find anything from budget shops to fine gourmet shops and design retailers.
We offer a wireless Internet connection so should you bring your laptop you can access the internet from anywhere in the house. All rooms have a TV.

An adorable guesthouse. Edda is a total sweetheart with loads of insider tips to help you in oft-overwhelming Iceland. The privacy was extremely welcome after staying in an 8-bed hostel for a week, and the wonderful kitchen helped us save $$ in a place where food can quickly become prohibitively expensive. My only gripe is that it's literally 10 yards from Reykjavik Backpackers' outdoor patio, so if you're here for the prospect of peace and quiet, it can get very noisy late at night.

Our caretaker live in Grettir's basement apartment and is a great source on both the attractions of the capital and possibilities of interesting daytrips outside the city. She also works in tourist Information next door
