Facilities here are decent- there were no problems with the air-con, wifi, shower etc. However the place doesn't have much of a vibe! Staff are polite but not overly friendly, and it's not a great place to meet other guests. The restaurant is cheap but food is not good, and definitely not very vegetarian/vegan friendly. The location has its pros and cons. It is close to the monorail and Chinatown, but no supermarket or good convenience store nearby. The area also seems extremely unsafe. I wouldn

Excellent location. Basic but very clean hostel close to monorail station and Chinatown.

Comfortable and homely environment, few steps distance to monorail station, nice condition of single private room. A good experience of traveling alone was provided.

Good place to stay for budget travelers

I had a smooth check in when I arrived and was in fact given a free upgrade to the single room! Everything was definitely OK but the lacked certain things - like an iron station. When i was about to check out, the staff in charge was a tad monotonous and didn't appear to be very hospitable. Nevertheless, I'd not let one rotten apple spoil the whole bucket!
