The hostel is very well run. Very clean. Showers always warm. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Good location. However downsides incl. - no lockers which we found strange considering everything else is well thought out. Its not possible to bring non guests into the hostel under any circumstances at any time which can be inconvenient if you want to meet friends before going out. The owner can also be very anal and gets annoyed about minor things.

A nice place only if your focus is for studying Spanish. Though there are no lockers it's really secure. Rooms are very nice and everything is clean. However this place really lacks a nice lounge area to chill out and socialise. Curfew is ridiculous you get kicked out at 930pm even if you're having a couple if quite beers.

The hostel was in a great location and Mike, the owner, was very welcoming. Although there weren't lockers in the dorms you needed a code to enter the building so it felt safe enough. Good wifi coverage, well equipped kitchen and a nice roof terrace. It was also super clean and the showers were great.

Gringo's Rincon is definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed at. It offers a friendly ambiance, it's incredibly cheap and Mike, the hostel's only staff is beyond helpful! I stayed for a week and enjoyed the night life, I loved studying in Sucre (as were most residence) and you can really make a lot of friends. The hostel is so clean and has everything you need. The internet sucks but for that price you cannot complain in the slightest.

Very good hostel with nice owner. Everything is clean and showers are hot. Great location as well! Only thing I missed was a good common area, although there is a nice rooftop terrace.

Beautiful building with great roof terrace and kitchen, awesome location and friendly, helpful staff. Always clean and full of people. A friendly crowd. The only down side is no lockers anywhere in the hostel. Everything else was fab!

Good hostel with all the things backpackers need. It's very clean and a few minutes walk from the main square. The only bad thing was the beds sagged a lot, maybe they're not all like that but I hope he looks into a mattress upgrade. All in all a good hostel

Really good place to stay and meet people. I enjoyed my time there. Cleanest hostel I have been at. The front door security is good, but no lockers. Great kitchen and nice common area outside on the top floor.

The perfect place to stay in Sucre. Close to perfect and the staff is really cool! No special facilities but a very nice price for a clean hostel, hot showers, big beds and a good kitchen!

For sure one of the nicest hostels in Bolivia. Just hard to understand, that it fails in 2 basics: No lockers and really bad matraces (never had so bad matraces in such a new hostel): Bad quality matraces which are already worn out and so smooth, that you sink so much in that u feel the wood under u. The atmosphere is "100% Gringo like": It seems the hostels name scares latin travellers, so you want listen one word of spanish in this hostel. And you will miss a living room on rainy days
