My family had a comfortable time at Guangdong Guesthouse. Simon was quite thorough in making sure that we had everything we need during our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Guangdong Guest House. The location is perfect being just a short three minute walk to Victoria Harbour and right on bustling Nathan Road. Both my wife and myself enjoyed a very clean and tidy private room with a comfy bed. The manager named Simon was absolutely fantastic and would do anything to ensure that we enjoyed our stay in Hong Kong. I would without any doubt recommend this hostel to anyone.

Perfect location and one of the cleanest place I've seen in China after 1 month of travel. Plus, the bed is REALLY comfortable! You probably read that the elevators are slow as hell in Chungking Mansion, it's true, but this hostel is at the 5th floor. Take the stairs!

When you have to go through the entrance from the Nathan Road itbis a little bit strange with a mixture of Indian, black and North African people doing 'business' on the street. Once you have catched the elevator to the 5th floor, you feel safe. The room is small, but extremely clean with all the comfort you need. Excellent WiFi, shower wit hot water, Wetern toilet, TV with DVD player, ventilator and airco on the room (I took the double bed deluxe room). It is perfect value for money.

This is the best guesthouse that I have stayed at in Hong Kong! Simon was very very helpful, the facilities were clean, and all of our needs were taken care of. I would definitely stay here again the next time that we visit HK!

Three people stayed in a 2 double bed room. We were comfortable and the room and bedding was very clean. The room was small and compact with all mod-cons. you could need. There was a large window, we opened as we didn't want or need to use air conditioner. Outside there was a drone of other aircons, but we slept with no worries.

Yes Chungking mansions are a bit sketchy, but once you get into Simon's guesthouse everything is fine. He does an excellent job maintaining the place and none of our things were disturbed at all. Try the indian place on the third floor!

Very nice Hostel, with Simon, who takes care of everything. Everything was nice IN the Hostel, although I did not like the location, Chungking Mansion, because of all the Indian people, who wants to sell you something. Also the fact, that you had to wait for the lift for ages to get to the third floor. I took the stairs after 2 trips. I would recommend this Hostel to everyone who is a guy or at least a coupe of people. I didn't felt really comfy, til inside.

We stayed at Guangdong Guest House for Chinese New Year and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Simon is a very welcoming, accommodating host. The rooms are not large by any means but they have every necessity and then some (bathroom, hot water, bed, outlet adapters, hair dryer, towels, air conditioning). Although the location is perfectly situated off of Nathan Road you do have to deal with your typical watch and handbag hagglers outside the Chungking Mansion. Would stay again.

The owner Simon is such a nice guy and very accommodating. Chunking Mansions are a bit dirty/sketchy, but the hostel itself very very nice. I highly recommend staying there

Small but perfectly functional rooms. Good price for Hong Kong. Chungking Mansions, although in an excellent location, is not the most desirable place but we had no trouble other than lots of touts and Simon tries very hard to keep his guesthouse secure (although the front door was left open on a number of occasions). There was air-con and a fan and a very small window in our double bedroom and a decent shower.

This place is definitely extremely clean. I stayed for 6 nights and every day came home to a room with all the bedding changed fresh and clean towels on the bed. Floor, walls, windows, and bathrooms were spotless. Looks new. TST is a fabulous location in terms of Hong Kong. It's easy to go hiking in the New Territories, and yet if you go the other direction, it's only 2 subway stops to the heart of downtown. Convenient to Mong Kok and the trains too. But Chung King Mansions is shady.

Location is right next to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR and 10mins walk to Star Ferry and Victoria Harbour. Was there on New Yr's Eve to watch the fireworks . Alas a bit disappointed. Room was very small, abt 10m2 but has all the essential items eg tv, dvd player and even hairdryer. Guesthse was in ChungKing Mansion as stated and u will see a colorful of tourists and south asians. CKM was even filmed in a movie which u can borrow the VCD from Simon. Will definitely be staying again given the hotel rate in HK

Like everywhere else in HK, the place is very small. However, Simon is at your beck and call and is always there to make your experience better. Had a great stay here even if we were a little cramped toward the end of the trip. I would definitely stay here again.
