Near to be abandoned. Looks like a closed place. In the gate you can see signs offering to sale or rent.

name of the hostel is DONALUPA and with a sign near that says "SALE" XD.Log in and you find yourself in a place without a thread of light, all enclosed,then..comes a man with a helmet(have fear of tripping?) with sunglasses (in a dark place!) and a long beard (but is not a problem, but imagine the whole thing..how can you not burst laugh??..this hostel puts you to the test) Anyway, he is a good person and nice!Speaking of the room is acceptable considering the price ..

This hostel doesn't have a reception so they made us wait outside on the street for half an hour with all our bags and in the middle of the rain. When they came they didn't even apologize. They were really rude and gave us a room we didn't ask for and told us it was the only one they got left. The next day a group of backpackers came and we found them waiting on the street, just as we did the day before, and the staff gave them a room they didn't ask for, just as they did with us.

It was very difficult to find the hostel, as it is out of the downtown maps and doesn't have a proper address, so we have arrived a bit later, as we wrote in the message they asked for. We tried to reach them on phone, but we couldn't, so we had to wait more than one hour to get our keys. Finally we got in our room, but it was EXTREMLY FREEZING, no heating and one tiny blanket - we were sleeping in our winter coat but still it was freezing. Next day - after five calls - we got another blanket.

Although the staff is wonderful. the hostel is very low standard. hot water in the shower only between 8 and 10. sheets that doesnt seem very clean. and freezing cold rooms. in summer it might be a nice place. but not in winter.

Basically, I feel like it was one of the most 'amazing' hostel Ive been so far, its very 'cosy' and 'cheerful'. The only good thing that is preferable here is the location and the wifi, the rest is by far pointless. I would highly suggest backpackers who can brace both the cold weather and the staff to try staying in this 'haunted' guesthouse for a night.

Overall, the hostel is pretty sketchy. This wouldn't be a bad hostel for the summer but with cold weather, it's really cold. We had to change rooms one night because the bathroom was leaking into the room and we were rather cold since there is no heat. If you want the basics basics, stay here. But beware...it is so cheap that it attracts a young crowd which can lead to loud party nights. The doors and walls are paper thin.

A bit far off the centre, but close to the Alhambra. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny. But all in all ok.
