Nice place, with a lot of character. Not as comfortable as a modern chain hotel but you can't have that in the middle of barri gotic, not at that price anyway. Overall very happy with our stay. The lady who took care of us was very kind and helpful.

A very nice place, located in ghotic quarter, near to a cheap supermarket. A good attention, a clean room!

Check in was cumbersome and chaotic. Shouldn't have to pay tobuse the room safe. Rooms had dirty walls and bedspread. Shower was hand held only and drain did'nt work properly. The property and room didn't live up to the photos on the website. I am currently traveling around Europe and have stayed in much better places in this price bracket.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for a few nights and we really enjoyed our time there. The room was big, and we had our own bathroom and a balcony! There is a everyday room service. I didn't like the whole security system with the cameras. The staff was nice and helpful and most of them could speak several languages (e.g. spanish, english, german, catalan). It's located in the main tourist area, but still really cheap for what you get. We would come again!

Great location and very good value-for-money. Facilities are very clean. The two elderly ladies in the reception are really cute. Only drawback is that the walls are thin so that noise from the corridor penetrates in. I would come back again.

Excellent location!!! Very close to central streets, cafes, bars! Poor heating however and really bad bathroom smell.

The hostel is OK, location is great – the second street from la Rambla, but it is not marked and you can miss easily. The stuff is nice except from night receptionist that loves to talk VERY loud. Since the walls are almost paper thin, you can forget good night sleep (at least when he is working).

The rooms on the street are quite loud, poor phonic isolation between the rooms, but great value for money in the heart of old Barcelona !

Great location, friendly staff, very nice hostel, the only thing could be better is breakfast, it should be including in the price. In general I would recommend this hostel ..

Don't even think twice. Barcelona Gotic has extremely friendly staff, clean rooms and a great location. I will not hesitate booking in there again or recommending to a friend, it's a no brainer for an inexpensive stay in Barcelona!

For us, the big downside was no kitchen (not even a kettle to boil water), and the wifi was okay but not great in our room. But the location is excellent, the staff was nice, and the room was okay.

Lovely place in the amazing Gothic Quarter! Not a party hostel, very quiet and safe. Average buffet breakfast of toast, a cereal or two, juice, coffee, packet crossiants for 3 euro extra. Lovely staff who are happy to help with recommendations for anything :)
